How much does a position as a federal magistrate pay? It seems odd that an attorney who was obviously tied in with the Washington elite would take a job of relatively lower status and compensation in Southern Florida unless he were placed there for a purpose.

He first of all gave up a high DOJ job to go work for Epstein when Epstein was under prosecution for pedophilia (for which he was jailed).
I am sure Epstein paid him plenty.
