Why is nobody asking this...
Back in 2009 Gov Paterson refused to allow the previous incarnation of that district a prompt special election after Eric Massa resigned, even though the vote on Obamacare was coming up.
The district had no representation for the vote on Obamacare.
So why is Hochul allowing a special election in August that will be done again in November with different candidates in a MAGA red district?
