Samantha Power Stonewalls Inspector General on Afghanistan on Terror Cash ($800 million - where did it go?)
Sultan Knish ^ | 15 Aug 2022 | Daniel Greenfield

Daniel Greenfield August 15, 2022 In June, the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction’s office (SIGAR), dispatched letters to Secretary of State Blinken and Samantha Power complaining that the State Department and USAID were stonewalling its investigation of waste, corruption and terror cash.

"Two SIGAR audits are also being hindered by a lack of cooperation from State and USAID. The first evaluates your agencies’ compliance with the laws and regulations prohibiting transfers of funds to members of the Taliban and the Haqqani Network," the letter to Power complained.

The Haqqani Network, which is allied with Al Qaeda, gained control of Kabul security and played a key role in preventing Americans from being evacuated and in the seizure of American military equipment left behind, even as the Biden administration described the Islamic terrorists responsible for the murder of Americans as “partners”. Despite claiming to no longer have ties to Al Qaeda, Ayman Al-Zawahiri, Al Qaeda's leader, was recently taken out at a Haqqani Network safe house. And, afterward, Haqqani members quickly evacuated Zawahiri's family.

Any funding going to the Taliban, the Haqqanis and Al Qaeda must be investigated.

In a recent interview, Special Inspector General John Sopko noted that his office was aware of the, "close to $800 million that we’ve spent in Afghanistan since the collapse of the government last August".

“I guess people don’t realize that,” he told reporters. “And I think people should realize that."

Samantha Power's policy of relying more heavily on local aid groups has made it that much more difficult to track where USAID’s money goes. And may be one reason that USAID has been stonewalling the Afghanistan watchdog.

Instead of turning over the information, Blinken and Power's people have lawyered up.

It's black letter law that these agencies MUST cooperate with an Inspector General, but this is one more example of how this administration that thinks it's above the law.

How much of that $800,0000,000 has found its' way into the hands of Hunter Biden's friends?

US taxpayers get fleeced. Our money is funneled into pools like this $800M and sent off shore to join the ocean of Dark Money. A lot of that Dark Money then comes back into the US to prop up US media, fund propaganda campaigns, and finance dirty politicians. We send money to Afghanistan and we don’t expect much of it to stay in Afghanistan.

“How much of that $800,0000,000 has found its’ way into the hands of Hunter Biden's friends?”

I would hazard a guess of, 10% to The Biden Crime Family with 10% (at least) of that to the Big Guy. Of course there was at least 25% skimmed off for other American politicians.
Then I would suggest somewhere between 20% and 30% siphoned off by Afghanistan officials, 10% - 20% by the Taliban, the Haqqanis and Al Qaeda warlords.

So a conservative guess is, of that $800,000,000.00 only $120-$125 million is ‘missing’ and in Washington 125 million is really only a rounding error.

My friends, I am NOT being sarcastic here.

Susan Rice, Samantha Power, (and also Victoria Nuland) are indeed re-treads from the Obama Administration.....part of Obamas "Harem" as they were called ....they were all his aides and established Foreign Policy - and still doing so under Biden. Everything happening in Ukraine is a continuation of what they began under Obama.

Afghanistan has been a black hole for US money since the Russians invaded. If I remember correctly, there was an audit done a number of years ago that found $45 BILLION unaccounted for. This is why Washington loves wars and foreign aide.

Corruption follows money, and the largest river of money on the planet runs through Washington, DC.

Well the following options are available: 1, they could arrest her in an airport, put in handcuffs and leg irons and drag her out... no that’s too to Peter Navarro. Or 27 FBI agents could be sent to her house with a helicopter and CNN news crew to drag her out and arrest... no that’s too Roger Stone. Oh, I got it! They could send 30 FBI agents into her house with a fake warrant, kick everybody, out take all her documents and go through her drawers of Underwear.... of course but who would do that?
