Has she been charged yet for defending her kids? Oh wait, this was not in NY or CA so maybe she won’t be charged.
Why is it “claims” legitimate defense? There was, indeed, an intruder in her residence and the children were screaming. Should she have asked the fellow what his intentions were before shooting?
Makes ya wonder if the dogs knew the deceased. He’s been silenced, so who knows?

Mine was 'Petey' - a small-ish, 3-legged black Lab.
He originally was a stray from the streets of Camden, NJ.
He was adorable.
But when bringing in the groceries I did NOT dare to leave
lunch meat unattended on the kitchen table.
Yes, the three legged dog could easily jump up on the kitchen
table - especially when there was roast beef involved.
This was his one vice / behavior problem.
He just couldn't help himself.
Actually he did help himself - THAT was the problem... LOL
