This guys political views are ugly and stupid, but as long as he is just speaking for himself as a private citizen and not using his position as a fire fighter to assist in promoting his views, his work should ignore his stupid opinions.
He better watch his back in his own firestation. They are brother in arms and he is assuring that his fellow firefighters will judge him by his big mouth.
