“Republicans will be +2 at a minimum in the Senate.”
If only...
If Oz wins, I don’t think we can count on him being much help. He’ll be a Liz Cheney.
“Then add an Orc “
What is that — an Orc?
Please explain.
I have Nevada, if Repubs win, as #50.
Where do you have PA, GA, and AZ? I have those as toss ups.
I have OH, WI, NC and holds for Repubs.
Don’t count out NH either, that would be a nice bonus pickup. CO i suppose is possible in a wave election if Hispanics make a huge turn to the Repubs.
Also we need to keep in mind that the senators elected this year will be there for all 4 years of Trump’s 3rd term. These elections are hugely important. We owe a debt of gratitude to Ron Johnson for running again to help keep his seat for 6 more years.
Orc is Fetterman....search his name for photos. Scary dude.
“search his name for photos. Scary dude.”
I think I might pass on that. But thanks for the tip, anyway. ;)
I have it currently at 50.
I have the Republicans winning
Georgia
Arizona
Nevada
I have the Republicans losing
Pennsylvania
That works out to a net +2.
50 (the current number) +2 = 52.
Haven’t been in touch with too many Georgians - Herschel Walker is an awful candidate (with a cool first name) but I can’t see too many folks being in love with Warnock.
Yes, I remember the “no new taxes” pledge. He then signs into law the luxury tax on yachts, cars, and private airplanes. A more poorly designed tax if there ever was one.
The luxury tax on yachts, was placed on all yachts over $200,000 (I believe) but only covered new yachts built and registered in the US. Used yachts, yachts built outside the US and registered in say the Cayman Islands were not taxed.
So during a slight recession we impose a tax that is easily avoidable-the results were predictable-the demand for US built yachts fell considerable-many layoffs in the industry and very little revenue was raised. When one considers the unemployment compensation paid to workers in the industry, loss of sale tax revenue, etc. The tax actually results in more government expenditures relative to revenue.
Also, Carville and Begala ran a masterful campaign. Bush’s team, not so much. The Demorats set the agenda for that race. Bush did not have the fire in the belly to win.
Hershel will romp to victory. He’s a folk hero in that state.
When all is said and done 54-46 R. House 285-150R
How would you like to put $100 on that. I say he won’t be like Liz Cheney. Come on put your money where your mouth is. Let’s change this from it’s just conversation actually putting up a little bit of inflated cash. He won’t be like Liz Cheney probably because he’s gonna have difficulty getting elected. We may even have to cheat like it’s 2020 to get his ass over the line. But if he does get over the line why don’t you take me up on the hundred dollar bet?
While Eric Trump brags about all the money DJT
raised he better give some campaign advice to
Senate candidates he backed that are in close
races in private real polls.
And If I were spending some of that big pile
of donations I would try to pick up some close
ones to insure 54 senate seats to compensate
for Rinos like Collins and Romney, Thune, and Ditch.
Big Ed way to go love your numbers love your effing numbers.. The worst president in human history. in the past weeks everything is telling us we’re getting nothing but avalanche wins all over. To many people on free republic except you big Ed are wetting themselves.
Thanks. I hope you are right about GA & AZ, but i rate them as toss ups, so I’m at 50 if we win NV. In a red wave year, we can win up to 53 or 54.
“Come on put your money where your mouth is.”
Seriously? LOL! Maybe you’d like to have a throw-down behind the bleachers after the football game. Or a duel on Main Street.
No just a friendly little side hustle. Because Dr. Oz is not going to be no stinkin Liz Cheney. Or Romney or Susan Collins or Lisa Murkowsky. As much as we also love Sean Hannity these days I don’t think he would put up another Liz Cheney or a Romney, or a Susan Collins. Yeah it’s just a friendly side hustle.
“As much as we also love Sean Hannity these days “
Pretty much nobody here loves, or even likes, Sean Hannity. [shudder]
You’re right that Oz won’t be like Cheney, Murkowski, Romney, etc., because he probably won’t win
His history and credentials are much worse than any of theirs.
What would be the metrics to prove Oz would be better or worse? It would be totally subjective. Anyhow, it’ll be interesting for both of us to see how it all shakes out.
From your lips to God’s ears, BigEd.
I also know user Situation update on rumble agrees. Oz is gonna be tough but Az Ga and Nv are gonna be pickups plus a couple of surprises like maybe Nh
Thanks for showing your true colors mayflower.
