'Putin's Rasputin' had criticised Vladimir shortly before his daughter was blown up - but Russia denies 'false flag' attack and names female Ukrainian spy they claim detonated car bomb

Alexander Dugin, known as ‘Putin’s Rasputin’, had strongly attacked the Kremlin leader shortly before his daughter Darya was blown up in a car bomb.

There had been an online campaign to disparage Dugin in the days leading up to the fatal blast it appears was intended for him instead of his daughter.

The revelations add to the theory that TV personality and ultranationalist pundit Darya Dugina, 29, was killed by Russian special services or other forces loyal to Putin.

...

Today the Russian FSB claimed that the SBU - Kyiv’s special services - were behind the murder and said a woman named Natalia Vovk, born in 1979, carrying out the hit.

She arrived in Russia on July 23 with her daughter Sophia Shaban, 12, reported SHOT media.

'A Mini Cooper was used to spy on the girl [Dugina]. Numbers were changed on it three times - the license plates of the DPR, Kazakhstan and Ukraine were used,' said SHOT.

The report stated: 'On the day of the crime, Vovk and her daughter arrived at the Tradition festival, and after a controlled explosion on August 21, they left through Pskov to Estonia.' ... Her Toyota Land Cruiser was hit by an explosion around one and a half miles after she left an elite car park where it is believed to have been mined.

Reports say the bomb may have been detonated by remote control. It contained 400 to 800g of TNT, with some experts saying it was the equivalent to ‘a simultaneous explosion of six grenades’. ... Seven hours before the killing, he had issued a vitriolic online post on Telegram saying that the war in Ukraine was now more important than Putin’s presidency.

A pretty transparent attempt at deflection, as well.

Pretty sure that at this point nobody believes anything that’s printed about the Ukraine War.

On Friday, he was “Putin’s Brain.”

On Monday, he was Putin’s enemy.

The USA MSM (and of course the Daily Mail) are chasing their tails trying to figure out the correct line.

The article quotes other Russians who are critical of Putin, but Dugin’s own remarks quoted here are basically urging Putin to do whatever it takes to win the war. So I’m not convinced that FSB is behind it.

It’s obvious, though, that the hit team did not have “eyes on” when they pulled the trigger.

She is merely one among tens of thousands of others who would still be alive if Putin hadn’t invaded Ukraine -on the advice of her father.

One thing for sure, this is all about “access” to the vehicle. It points to an inside job.

I think this underscores what I have been saying consistently.

Putin is ruthless.

His chief academic supporter came out publicly against the war in Ukraine and within hours his daughter was dead.

Russian disinformation hacks pin the attack on Ukrainian special forces who are suddenly and unexpectedly able to carry out targeted attacks deep inside Russia.

The Putin affinity at FR needs to suffer sharp decline.

Dude, there's a whole contingent here who lap up every bit of propaganda about Rus/Uke from the DailyMail.

The Daily Mail is simply an aggregator of news from other sources, which it then filters.

The original source for the claim about some Ukrainian mother and her teenage daughter living in the same block as Dugina for weeks if not months WITHOUT AROUSING SUSPICION and then planting the bomb (under a car inside a security services monitored compound) AND THEN making the slow ten hour journey to safety in Estonia all literally under the noses of the security services, comes from Russia.

Two things make the Daily Mail look less propagandist about it -

1. They are simply relaying what’s come out of Russia with a side order of “does this sound kosher to you?!”. If the substance of the story is propaganda, then the substance of the story is Russian propaganda.

2. The sheer fact that the accusation against this Ukrainian mom is so hilariously convoluted, makes the security services look completely incompetent.

Dugina was driving a car that had a bomb put under it right under the noses of the Russian security services. Dugin swapped cars and was in the car behind her when it detonated. There’s quite some orchestration involved to pull off the chain of events. But hey, let’s ignore all that because there was a yummy mummy Uke in the apartment block. So it must’ve been her.

Somewhere in the afterlife, Lee Harvey Oswald and Rubin “Hurricane” Carter are rocking in their armchairs saying “Yup, that’s a patsy”.
