....Spielberg made Jaws while he was still a young visionary. Now he’s old, rich, and a member of the Hollywood elite. In joining their ranks, he went from being a maverick who wanted to challenge the rules to someone who wants to make the rules. He has claimed to be “terrified” of global warming and is angry with people who do not care about their carbon footprint. His own footprint is an entirely different matter.
Fox News notes that as of June 23, Spielberg’s private plane used up around $116,159 in jet fuel during 16 trips to various and sundry places. For those of you who bought a scorecard at the front gate, that comes out to about 179 tons of carbon dioxide. And I am sure that someone in his social strata has very good reasons for making all of those trips while wanting you to wait on a bus, cram yourself into a train, buy a bike, or go into debt for an electric car.
Even the tax credit comes with some caveats. NPR admits that there are some, shall we say, ‘terms and conditions” that come with said credit, and Breitbart recently uncovered the fact that under the Inflation Reduction Act, there are subsidies for cars made in “North America.” In this case, Canada and Mexico. So, U.S. automakers who want to save a little money can outsource American jobs. Great news, unless you need an American job.

Because “climate change” is about suppressing populations. It’s NOT about suppressing elites. In fact, quite the opposite.
Not only shouldn’t the little people own anything, the globalists are taking the route that capitalists fat-cats would love to be able to take, and that is to restrict access to EVERYTHING. Scarcity and gate-keeping is power!
For the elites the Global Climate Change farce is simply a way to get the smelly masses off of the beaches on the costa del sol and out of their favorite Michelin Star restaurants.
It is about lowering the Western standard of living, so Asians doing more and more of the work don’t demand the same standard of living (private automobiles, detached single-family homes, multiple children) as the Westerners who formerly did much of the work.
They salve their consciences by buying carbon credits...what a farce.
Spielberg also touted the eight hours he spent meeting Fidel Castro in 2002 over dinner in Havana, ignoring the hundreds of thousands Castro killed, the billions he and his family stole, the threats to use nuclear weapons on this country. What a phony dilletante, reminds me of the “celebrities” who visited Hitler and Stalin with nary a word of criticism. To his credit, Robert Duvall said he would never make another film for the jerk.
So what if algore has a beachfront mansion in Kalifornia! So what if Osama Obama has beachfront mansions in Hawaii *and* Massachusetts!So what if Bernie Sanders has a mansion on the shores of Lake Champlain! So what if Leonardo DiCaprio has a 400 foot diesel powered yacht! Climate change is *real* and the middle class must commute to work on a pogo stick and keep their thermostats at 48 in winter and 84 in summer.
The Climate Changers never mention Volcano Tonga. It pumped estimated 58 billion tons of ash and vapor into the atmosphere on Jan. 15-19 2022 and is now having effects on World Wide Wx. When will Rear Admiral John F’ing Kerry start cleaning up the Atmosphere? It will be over 10 years before this ash and vapor fall out of the Atmosphere.
The only obstacle to fully implementing their plan is to disarm us mouth breathers and many thanks to Portman of Ohio and his gun control loving brother Dewine for helping to disarm the peasants . I’m sure your state is working on that too .
I always mention Obama’s shore house in Massachusetts, asking the braindead if they really believe he spent all that money on something HE really believes will be underwater soon due to “climate change” or “global warming”...
They never have an answer for that one.

I recall reading about how Spielberg apparently has a large gun collection but it would not surprise me that he’s probably given boatloads of money to Handgun Control Inc (now the Brady Center) and other firearms prohibitionists.
