Maybe our first test of the 2022 Atlantic Hurricane season here in Florida and around the Gulf Coast.

Not going to happen with the disturbances shown on today’s map:

As tragic as hurricanes can be; we Texans really really need one. One which would come ashore somewhere south west of Corpus Christi around the Rio Grande Valley and then slowly make its way from south west to north east across Texas to ease our severe drought.

>>east west of African coast

Well that pinpoints it to the Indian/Atlantic ocean.

What is NOAA model GPS? The link doesn’t show anything about a “GPS model.” Broken news.

Maybe if we ditch our cars and all buy a Nissan Leaf we can avert sure death from climate change.

Power companies short on transformers, having trouble getting them. Major power outages due to large areas of storm damage will be a big problem. Hope they’re wrong about a Cat 5 or any hurricane force storm impacts over Labor Day

2013 Hurricane Season Predictions
2012 made NOAA reconsider their forecast models for hurricane season predictions, so they were a bit more liberal for this year.
70% chance of above normal season
13-20 named storms
7-11 hurricanes
3-6 major hurricanes

2013 Hurricane Season Actual Result
Fearing the worst, this season turned out to be one of the quietest and least active in history. In fact, it was the lowest number of hurricanes since 1982.
15 tropical storms
2 hurricanes
No major hurricanes

Oh goody, more fuel on the fires of “globull warming” scaremongering.

But seriously, the oceans probably are very hot right now due to the heat waves. It’s gonna be a hellacious hurricane season. They’ve got plenty of fuel now.
