A few thoughts. It takes a long, long time just to read 700 pages. I dealt with the top-secret documents on a project. The average document was less than 20 pages. Also, they were in categories. One would think you could easily decide on what to do with them based on the category. Lastly, why does anyone need to retain classified documents? I’d say when you create them you should put them in the “keep for the record” or “destroy after X time.”

It’s not about Classified Docs, which have always been at the President’s complete discretion - its about RAIDS!
No raids by any of the AGs that served Trump.
No raids by Durham.
Two Raids for Joe’s kids!

An illegal warrant. An illegal execution of the illegal warrant. And seizing documents which prove nothing since presidents have power to classify and declassify
We are into the gestapo era. The us constituon and your civil liberties are irrelevant to survival under this police state

700 pages ia about the length of the last book I read and about one third of HR 5376 they just passed in Congress. The US government is a wordy bunch so 700 pages isn’t much.

Supplely odumma took 30 million documents. I’m sure he declassified them all before he left office, just like Trump did.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
Biden reclassified them?
Can you say “ex post facto?”

Under the law, the president is the ultimate, non-controvertible, final, arbiter of what is, and what is not, classified. He is not required to follow his subordinate’s rules.
That is the law, which has been upheld explicitly.
Trump declassified everything he took. Ergo, it is not classified, no matter what the self-important bureaucrats say.
Full stop.

What they neglect to say is as President the Executive power invested in Trump gave him the absolute power necessary to declassify those documents and retain them as the executive. Full stop.

He declassified them while he was still in office. Then they can all be turned over to the media by use of FOIA requests?
