Russia purchased Crimea from the Ottoman Empire. Since, they have buried a million soldiers there.

Russians conquered and seized Crimea from the Ottoman Empire. They did not pay a dime for it. There are nowhere near one million Russian troops buried there. Here is what your approved source RT says about the Crimea>>>

You had better re-think that comment.

They might not have been all “Russian” troops, but they were all part of Russia at one time or the other.

In WW2, I would bet there was a very large number of them killed or wounded in the Crimea..2 times. Once at the German Invasion and once when Russia took it back from the Germans.
Then count ALL the other wars fought on that piece of ground.

I would guess that there might be MORE, than 1 million “Russian” troops killed in that place since its conception.
