Plenty of time to revise and edit it after the fact and “redact” all the stuff showing how illegal this was.
You can be sure we will learn nothing from this affidavit. But ti will not be favorable to Trump, count on it. And how is the fbi/doj allowed to operate in complete secrecy, even after the investigation is done? Look at the Russia, Russia, Russia investigation. It’s still all classified.
Are we going to get a black sheet of paper? I.e. a white sheet entirely covered in black ink?

The judge has the original affidavit.
He can release a copy any time he likes.
It should be public record.
Each line redacted, is a ploy to reduce the FBI’s illegality.
I say make it public and let them defend it.
Time for a FOIA, if it covers things like this.
They can keep it sealed until the investigation is over. But they can and will keep the investigation open for years.

I think if they actually charge Trump, they will have to release it all then. Unless they are claiming its a national security issue.

What won’t be redacted is anything that paints Trump in a bad light.
Totally blackout! Poor Trump these bastards are coming on hard for him! This is exactly what is going on on the J6 panel hearing. You cannot defend yourself from all the accusations the gestapo is throwing at you. He cannot have a defense because they control the narrative. Honestly folks this is history repeating itself. I feel we are in the times Germany where the Gestapo told people what to do what to think how to convict how to label people how to squeal on those who were Jewish. The Jewish people never had an opportunity to defend themselves they were immediately carted off and put on train boxes straight to the concentration camp. Some would made it into the housing project in the camp others directly to the showers. And you know what happened in the showers. No questions asked, no defense lawyer, just a narrative... death!
Lets say they were thinking of a charge X, but weren’t quite
satisfied they could prevail on that charge, it seems they
would probably try to keep that sealed.
I’d like to see it all opened up, and I’d like some verification
that what is revealed is exactly what they submitted.
