All part of the plan to make folks depend on the government to supply all their needs especially food and power and transportation.

“To stick it to Putin!!!”

Yo might want to consider this. In my opinion this has nothing to do with Putin other than using his name as a excuse to cover other peoples’ back side.

A few of the first things that Biden did was to cut the pumping of petroleum in the Keystone by chasing out the developer and cancel and cut down leases in the Rockies for starter wells. This was done to please his ecology buddies here in the states that endorsed, funded, and voted for him in great numbers.

And an example of the payback is this:

“The effort comes as Democrats and the White House work to find a way to advance a new version of the so-called Build Back Better Act with its $550 billion in energy and climate spending, including more than $300 billion in new and expanded tax credits for wind and solar power, nuclear plants, biofuels and advanced energy manufacturing.”

Don’t follow the threats. Follow the money. Putin has been at war with the Ukraine since 2014. He’s old news.

I live in NH.

That being said, New England voted for their socialist representatives and deserves all the hard times coming to it.

Pity that it’s mostly Northeast Liberals who will freeze. Conservatives generally have firewood laid in. ..(grin)

The northeast majority voted for this (or allowed cheating for this).

They thought it was pretty cool at the time.

Now they're going to find out just how cool it was.

Ever give any thought to what happens to the nation’s national parks if this progressive 100% EV fantasy takes hold and range anxiety sets in as the newest national neurosis? You won’t be seeing the USA in your EV Chevrolet. The admissions guy collecting money for park admissions will be out of a job and the poor bears will have sugar fits for donuts as their supply source disappears. Call me a conspiracy buff, but I think the progressive range anxiety game plan is to urbanize everyone and get them to repopulate Detroit and other urban paradises.lol

Years ago I saw a bumper stick that read: “Drive faster! Freeze a Yankee!”

I’m a Florida boy (NOT FL Man). I do not like the cold.

I spent 8 miserable frozen years just outside Concord NH....our home was primarily wood heat w/ oil furnace backup. During the day, nobody home, the thermostat was set at 55. Rest of the time the fireplace insert kept the house toasty.

Went through 2-2-1/2 cords per season bought locally...very economical then. The oil company would send letters asking if we could please purchase more than the 150+/- gal of oil we burned per year.

I don’t like the cold either and would move to FL in a heartbeat, but it’s not my decision alone.

Besides, our kids are up here. So I tough it out.

I *LOVE* FL.
