Hardly, but that is not what was referred to nor referenced in this topic dealing with the US continuing to flush money down the Ukraine toilet of failure and inevitable defeat of the ZelenskyyIdiot Nazi Regime......
Interesting.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M31_(missile)#Overview
“In 2006, MLRS was upgraded to fire guided rounds. Phase I testing of a guided unitary round (XM31) was completed on an accelerated schedule in March 2006. Due to an Urgent Need Statement, the guided unitary round was quickly fielded and used in action in Iraq.[6] Lockheed Martin also received a contract to convert existing M30 Dual-Purpose Improved Conventional Munition (DPICM) GMLRS rockets to the XM31 unitary variant.[7]
The M31 GMLRS Unitary rocket transformed the M270 into a point target artillery system for the first time. Due to GPS guidance and a single 200 lb (91 kg) high-explosive warhead, the M31 could hit targets accurately with less chance of collateral damage while needing fewer rockets to be fired, reducing logistical requirements.”
“get the HIMARs munitions makers to increase production ......which the Russians easily go through in a day......?!”
Correction: it is the HIMARS, that goes through Russians.
The newer versions of the rockets that HIMRS and MLRS fire (most of what is now in inventory), have single high explosive warheads (about 100 lbs).
500 or 1,000 lb bombs would still be better suited for big reinforced concrete structures, like those bridges.
No one cares about the regime, troll; its the people who are fighting without much help from either the regime or the UA High Command.
We care about the people, who would rather be nuked by Russia, then live under them again - move to Russia & try it some time. Or are you already living in the workers’ Paradise?
The topic which you are attempting to hijack is about production, not about your interjected hijacking topic of money.
Yes; you can reload HIMARS in a couple of minutes so as long as you have a lot of rockets it’s certainly possible. Every rocket is not going to hit the very best place on the bridge so probably at least 10-20 times as much explosive as what a combat engineer would carefully plant to blow up the bridge. And HIMARS would have to be happy with just damaging the bridge, not completely destroying it.
I have added to this topic.
Move along Nazi supporter.
You cannot add to a topic posted - that is called hijacking, troll.
Love how you commies and democrats always call people you disagree with “Nazis” - still haven’t gotten over Hitler’s betrayal of your beloved Stalin, eh?
