Add WA and NY to that and the entire country of Canada - https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgary/canada-electric-cars-2035-1.6085540

I’m sure every blue state in the US will soon be following suit too.

We have better thermometers now.

The ones from 90 years ago were junk.

They should ban electricity as well. And maybe first world society while they are at it too.

I imagine that most of the vehicle accident deaths in the USA involve gasoline or diesel engines. By banning these evil agents of death, just think of how many lives will be saved!

Why bother to have a legislature in Massachusetts, just use the legislature in California. Just think of all the money they will save.

What this really means is more Massholes will move to other places.

The red states will become overpopulated. And the country, as a whole, will never have the infrastructure to handle millions of electric vehicles.

Hopefully, they being the dim bulbs on the string, move to NY or Ct.

I live in rural N Nevada.

My street is about 6.5 miles long. Parcels are about 5 acres. About 6 years ago, there were 104 developed parcels on this street....we counted them for another fight over wells.

This past early spring-—the power company doubled up the lines from 2 to 4 & replaced a number of poles-—some over 50 years old...This is old ranch community....

There is NO way that this small valley can handle everyone using chargers for all their cars. AND-—THIS is just ONE SMALL RURAL VALLEY ———

They will extend the deadline.

The technology is not mature enough. And California is short of electrical power.

New England has one of the weakest grids in the nation. Almost totally dependent on outside sources of power. Pushing EVs in Massachusetts is suicidal, not only for Massachusetts but for the rest of New England as well.

People in MA don’t need cars anyway since its Mass Transit system of trains and busses are so efficient, dependable and safe. /s.

WRIC:
“RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — In a statement posted on his Twitter account, Governor Glenn Youngkin announced that he is already working to repeal a law that would ban the sale of new gas and diesel-powered cars in Virginia by 2035.

Virginia is currently in an agreement to follow California’s emissions standards as part of a bill passed in 2021 under former Governor Ralph Northam, according to the Associated Press.

On Friday, Aug. 26, 2022, Youngkin announced on Twitter that he was already working to detach Virginia from this requirement.”
