Ha! How many of your posts are copy-and-paste anti-Soros meme spam with zero original thinking applied?

Nice Soviet response though - ignored the question completely and replied with a cliche.

NOBODY would have this as a news story, if the Kremlin hadn’t posted the video up! Russia is perfectly capable of suppressing videos that might embarrass them somehow. Nothing goes up on the Kremlin website without the security and media control services making a decision.

So let’s try again - with the point of the question made a bit more obvious.

If “this thread was brought to you by Soros”, how do you account for the official Kremlin website hosting the video AND the transcript that the story this thread discusses?

Russia itself recorded it, triaged it, decided it’d be okay to release, edited it, and published it. It WANTED the West to see this.

It appears to show that Putin (a) isn’t comfortable and (b) is hearing arrant bullshit from the commanders. Maybe the regime is getting ready to hang the generals out to dry? Maybe they’re trying to point out that Putin needs to step down for the sake of his health?

NOTHING like that goes on Russian official sources without careful thought. That isn’t an accidentally leaked meeting, it’s a managed release.

We can see the same thing happening on the daily hate on Russian TV - the responses by the panellists to some of the talking heads border on raised eyebrows, eye-popping astonishment, awkward face-pulls, and recently even sniggering. That’s either a completely genuine response to being fed bullcrap by the official Kremlin line, or it’s totally staged.

We see the same thing with Zhirinovsky/Dugin/Putin takes on relations between Ukraine and Russia recycled daily on their state-run TV news, on their state-run websites, through pro-Russian blogs, and in their international forums e.g. at St Petersburg. The original articles and publications go back to the 90s and are academic rather than propaganda, but they’ve been turned into managed propaganda since.

We saw the same thing with Moscow’s man in Kherson, who admitted (after being outed by keen-eyed internet commentators) that he’s in safety in Russia. Just like Kadyrov, who was acting the hard man and pretending he was in the field of action when we could all see him stood outside a chain gas station that has ZERO presence in Ukraine.

A lot of it’s propaganda made purposefully for an audience inside Russia that is either conditioned to ignore any obvious discrepancies, or is simply too ignorant to notice them. But then one has to ask, why would Russia advertise its own pathological lying to its own people OUTSIDE Russia.

The whole point of these staged reports and interviews is to soften ordinary Russians up for a protracted war that might even spread into other countries and last for decades, but where everything’s tickety-boo at the front. If it triggers the west into being exactly what Russia wants us to be - the Russia-hating boogeyman - then it’s done the job.

So on that score, the people pumping out this propaganda are marching in time with Soros.

"the people pumping out this propaganda are marching in time with Soros."

And you're all in for Zelensky's corrupt puppet state.
