If you like your cheap and accessible charging you can keep it. End of quote. End of line.
Make no mistake, the rest of the country is going to be forced to pay for upgrades and new structures for Califs power grid in the coming years.
In all seriousness, this isn’t much in the end. Most EV owners charge their EV’s at night anyway to avoid California’s peak hour rates. You can set your EV to charge during certain hours when charging at home.
Will the California public ask themselves: “Hey! We have blackouts now. They want all cars to be electric. There’s not enough electricity now. It can only get worse.”
If they’ve pulled their heads out of their anal exit passageways they will realize what’s going to happen.
Horse and cart or dog and cart if they ever have to evacuate ,LOL
Sorry for all you fine folks out in California, but tough shit.
100% preventable, but the ruling regime wants to inflict as much pain as possible to create compliance.
And too many people out there are cheering those nut jobs on.
Another loss of Freedom from these tyrants.
Here are pics of who collects lithium for the EV cars. I know-dems love child slavery AND hate kids so this is all fine by them.https://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C1AWUC_enUS738US738&sxsrf=ALiCzsaLTN01_-zPANJG0lYb2pWdmz6DJQ%3A1661120546619&q=Lithium%20mine%20workers&tbm=isch&source=iu&ictx=1&vet=1&biw=2048&bih=1010&dpr=1.25&fbclid=IwAR2-s34pOGZXo_Hiws6ejKllO94WMW5ReSwVmWt2SrzrSOhWf-mQwHtvNgo#imgrc=z_f3Wog-S9L6QM&imgdii=2F-7CzG96Ii7YM
The rush to EVs is all about breaking the system so as to cause the end of personal transportation, as we know it.
i wonder if they can draw the power that is stored in those EV batteries for other uses...
hehehe
plug it in and drain it away. 2035 will be an interesting year.
Which will kill more Americans over the next 100 years?
A 2 degree C rise in average global temperature (should it actually occur);
Or a failed electrical supply and distribution system with no nuclear or combustible energy sources?
Who needs to go to work? Who needs to go see the doctor? Who needs groceries? Who needs to take the kids to school?
Citizen, keep that EV in the garage with its empty batteries until we tell you it is safe to recharge!
the reality is once they have banned gas cars and you are forced to purchase EVs
they will move forward with “green” energy which is very expensive
so most wont be able to afford to charge their EVs
only the rich will be able to afford EVs
for the common peasant there is bus/train, bike, walk
Anybody remember the “odd & even” license plate number driving days?
Hey Sam, we’re all meeting up at the sports bar tonight, can you join us?
Aw man, wish I could but tonight I can charge my EV from 7 to 10.
ROTFL!! A Labor Day Sneak Peak at the future. Heh heh.
'Nuff said.
This is why I am loathe to sell any of my bicycles, even though we have five of them in a household of three people.
Once they have enough electric cars, they’ll no longer have to ‘request’ people not charge, during power shortages.
