On Tuesday, President Joe Biden traveled to Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania to attempt to "flip the script" on Republicans with a law-and-order campaign message. The theme of Biden's speech was that "the answer is not to defund our police departments—it's to fund our police."
Biden's speech certainly involved a lot of flipping. During the 2020 presidential campaign, Biden was asked whether he supported "redirect[ing] some of the funding for police into social services." At the time, he responded, "Yes, I proposed that kind of reform."
In Biden's three previous speeches on violent crime, his focus has almost exclusively been on gun control. He certainly didn't say anything pro-police in those speeches. Biden mentioned police only four times—twice in connection with enforcing gun control. And he dabbled in gun control inaccuracies on Tuesday, too, including his constant referencing of AR-style semiautomatic rifles as "weapons of war" when even the Associated Press' influential Stylebook makes clear that AR-style semiautomatic rifles are not weapons used by any military.
Adding police can be an important step in reducing crime. The $13 billion spent on hiring and training more police may be small compared to the $80 billion that Biden is going to spend on hiring 87,000 new IRS agents, but it could make a big difference if it is actually spent on hiring new officers.
But in many Democrat-controlled cities, the problem starts with the district attorneys.

It isn't complicated why crime has increased in America in recent years. Failing to convict or incarcerate criminals, while also making policing more difficult, will inevitably lead to more crime. Biden has no idea what it means to be tough on crime.

Why are the feds funding police departments? Isn’t that the responsibility of the cities and states? Everything is not an issue for the feds to address. That is how we are losing all of our freedom.
I hope he brings up Maga, Ultra Maga and/or The great Maga King.
I keep seeing that Cotton-Diapered Joe is going to make his incendiary, divisive speech in prime time tonight so I looked up local TV listings out of curiosity. I don’t see any filthy, hate-speech disruptions on the network or satellite TV schedule.
I won’t be watching anyway. That nasty old codger makes me cringe.

The desperate Democrats/RINOs have officially gone off the deep end ............... well, actually, the desperate Democrats/RINOs officially went off the deep end when they stole the 2020 Election. Obviously, the desperate Democrats/RINOs have so backed themselves into a corner that it almost seems they're now trying to intimidate and threaten Americans with "F-15s." (Could that possibly be another all-new election stealing tactic, just like their all-new free-government-money $20,000 student loan "forgiveness" program, just prior to the 2022 election.)
P.S. Talking about stolen elections, the Facebook CEO recently denied blame and instead blamed the FBI for pressuring Facebook into suppressing the Hunter Biden laptop story before the 2020 Election. In turn, the FBI denied blame and instead blamed Facebook for suppressing the Hunter Biden laptop story before the election. That's typical Democrat/RINO finger-pointing. Well, somebody has to be blamed for the suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story before the election, so based on their own public words, it seems both Facebook and the FBI are to blame (in addition to Twitter, Snapchat, the entire MSM, etc.) for suppressing the Hunter Biden laptop story before the election. And do you remember when Pfizer said in October 2020 that it will delay approval of its Covid vaccine until after the election? The desperate Democrats/RINOs have a million-and-one election-stealing tricks up their sleeve.

I don’t watch a lot of TV anyway.
