The one thing that to this day sticks in my craw and is at the top of her list of bad behaviors in my opinion, is how Serena robbed Naomi Osaka of the joy she should have had when she won her first US Open. A young player, who idolized Serena no less, & she crushed her joy like a bug. All the protestations in that fake syrupy sweet voice she uses ... “I get along with ALL the girls in the locker room” (yeah, she said that) - she just can’t hide the ‘ugly’ she’s got inside. Tennis will be better for that ‘ugly’ to be off the court.

I, too, watched during a break in football. When she lost, everyone was cheering her. Much respect to Djoko for standing tall. He’s a very smart man (before the shots became a ‘thing’, too) and he’s going to have the last ‘laugh’ as it were, although destroyed health, careers & death are no laughing matter. He values his family over all things tennis, including adding more trophies to his collection, & he’s not doing his family any good if he’s sick or dead. I saw him interviewed recently, Wimbledon I think - relaxed conversation. His son came up and Djoko’s face just lit up with love and pride, something I’ve never seen when he talks about his tennis accomplishments. John McEnroe made some comments about him not being able to play, one being “I’d just get the shots & play”. He is obviously not well-informed.
I am going to forego the racist, misogynist, and references to farm animals and just say, “bless her little heart”.
She's all muscle right now but that's due to all the training exercising she's getting. Once that stops, the fat takes over.
