Dr. Lee was reprimanded by the American Psychiatric Association (APA) for her use of “armchair psychiatry.”

IIRC there was quite a bit of that going around at the time - still is - but it is profoundly unprofessional for any psychiatrist to pronounce a diagnosis on a patient she's never even met, much less examined.

Way way back after her book came out Mark Levin had her on his radio show. You could tell right off the bat she had no clue as to Mark’s conservative beliefs or anything about his show. He even asked her. She seemed happy at first for the exposure. He brilliantly viscerated her about diagnosing someone she had never met. He trapped her good. I hope he does a followup and shares some clips.

I'm really confused here.Having worked for 20+ years at one of the world's most famous medical schools I would have fully expected Yale to make her the dean of the medical school...not to fire her.

Lawsuits like this are testimony to why we need loser pays civil lawsuit laws. She would have had second thoughts about bringing a frivolous lawsuit if she knew she would be paying defendant’s cost of defense when she lost
