Breitbart ^ | 09/08/2022 | ALANA MASTRANGELO

A California man said he got a message telling him to avoid charging his vehicle after he got into his Tesla. This comes as California electricity regulators declare a “Flex Alert,” asking consumers to conserve electricity voluntarily between 4:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. due to a shortage of power in the state.

“This ******** was on the screen of my Tesla yesterday when I got in the car,” real estate investor Mike Bolen tweeted on Tuesday, sharing a photo of the message he received from his electric vehicle (EV).

Maybe not, just being able to drive in the magic lane on the freeway is a HUGE deal out there.

I can see an EV as my 4th car for suburban jaunts.

One nice gasser for trips.
Pickup truck
Classic hot rod
EV buggy

But right now they’re too expensive

I wouldnt mind a Tesla....but for the technological curiousity and performance in silent mode....not by any misguided means of ‘saving the planet’.

As the batteries deplete, the huge cost of a replacement battery will make these used evs very cheap to buy.
If you’re good with under 100 miles range on a charge, it will be a useful vehicle. Shopping trips, high school kids, etc.

UCLA canceled in person classes for the week. It’s too hot to run the AC in the college buildings.

You are the one who has been baited, and you’ve apparently been caught.

“As the batteries deplete, the huge cost of a replacement battery will make these used evs very cheap to buy.”

EV battery lifes are running hundreds of thousands of miles. 20+ years of normal driving. And every year better, Tesla has tested a one million mile battery.

“If you’re good with under 100 miles range on a charge, it will be a useful vehicle. Shopping trips, high school kids, etc.”

Even cheap EV’s are 250+. Tesla Model 3 LR is 350. Tesla S is over 400.

Superchargers on the highway provide 200 miles range in 15 minutes.

Every cellphone in California got that same scolding message. It wasn’t limited to EVs.

When Male Model Gavin gets elected President he will do for the entire country what he’s been doing to California. Electricity blackouts and water shortages.

If the government can get your electric car to pop up a warning to save electricity, then (coming soon) they will have the ability to tell you instead of politely asking.
