don’t like this guy, but he IS correct this time ...
Russia tried to capture all of Ukraine - failed
Russia tried to make the Ukrainian Government collapse, and the Army lose its will to fight - failed
the whole operation was supposed to be over in 1 month, before Western countries had any time to organize in opposition - failed
the quick operation would ensure Russia maintained its reputation as a peaceful, civilized country - failed
operation was supposedly to stop NATO from expanding to Russia’s borders ... instead, Finland - acountry right on Russia border! - is about to enter NATO - so, FAILED
multiple failures by Russia! with more to come, because the same idiots are still in charge!!
I thought the Putinistas were still saying they haven't sent in the "varsity" players yet...
“don’t like this guy, but he IS correct this time ..”
I would like to think that our expenditures in the Ukraine war will lead to an outcome we “good guys” want, but I’m also thinking that Russia can take heavy losses and still prevail, and Russia’s got that natural gas and petroleum that Europe needs. And Russia might be getting assistance too, say, from China.
I just don’t know what’s going on.
“Russia tried to capture all of Ukraine - failed“
Many seem to think all of Ukraine was the goal, but I honestly do not believe that to be true. The numbers the Russians brought to the table do not back that up. Quite simply the Russians have to be at the extent of what is possible with the numbers involved.
Now Russia brings nearer thee quarters to a million to the table, then yes I would believe all of Ukraine was the goal…..but 200k? Well, let’s just say if they thought they could take all of Ukraine with 200k then they were delusional at best.
Hush foreigner
Or the Chummy mope just made this up.
I am against the invasion regardless, but Russia started out with unmanageable goals, and would have fared better only pursuing coastal areas.
Meanwhile, Europe will be burning their dead to stay warm this winter.
