It’s a real shame that more voters, or people within the media, do not familiarize themselves with older interviews from decades past.

People used to have what they called “thoughts”, They had “ideas”. They could “express themselves” and articulate a thoughtful position on the issues of the day.

But, sadly, all of that has passed us by.

Now we interview 13-year-old girls who think stuff is either super cool or maybe kinda groady.

“groady” (or “grody”) dates you. And further back than you think.
I tried using it with my daughter (now mid-20s) and I was left in no doubt.

New Yorkers don’t have thoughts when it comes to political parties. They have feelings. And their feeling is that Republicans = bad and Democrats = good. So they elect a smug self absorbed dimwit with a monstrous ego because she’s a Democrat. And since New Yorkers look down on everyone west of the Hudson as being far inferior to themselves they want to export their love of government and hatred of freedom to the rest of the country. They’ve been doing this via their elected representatives for at least 70 years
