Putin's commanders have begun quietly fleeing Crimea as they try to sell their homes and get their families back to Russia, Ukrainian spies have claimed.

Russian FSB agents and those working for the occupying government are also trying to get off the peninsula, which has been occupied by Kremlin forces since 2014.

Officials have been spooked by the rapid advance of Ukrainian forces across the north of the country in recent days, the military intelligence service added, amid reports that soldiers are withdrawing from Melitopol - just 70 miles away.

LOL. The mother of all counter-offensives flopped badly everywhere except one area of the lowest priority for the Russians where they withdrew their forces beforehand, but BS is still fontaining.
Mind my word, once it is all over and the truth comes out the media credibility is over.
They are officially the propaganda organs of the state.

It’s just probably the housing market tanking from higher interest rates.

The Russian Federation army may have outrun their logistical supply lines. This is always a critical failure and leads to defeat and a complete rout from the battlefield.

The only other strategy at this point is to go “scorched earth”, and nothing does a better job of scorching than a few nukes dropped in desperation. Blows the rubble to radioactive dust.

If Russia is really losing as claimed (which I have a hard time believing)...what are the odds they decide to ‘take everyone with them’?

What a joke as if Russia would ever give up Crimea. Nukes would fly before that ever happened. The Daily Mail has really gone over the top with their pro-Ukraine propaganda, they must be receiving some sort of renumeration for doing this.

“What a joke as if Russia would ever give up Crimea.”

That’s almost as absurd as the insane delusion in the late 1980s that the Soviets would ever tolerate a united Germany. Where do people come up with these ideas?

Exactly, if for some reason Russia seriously started losing this war, we will be seeing tactical nukes brought into play. And people are cheering for this? Have people lost their minds? I swear there’s some kind of mass craziness going on in the world.

End the world in nuclear fire instead of what, simply crossing back into Russia and going home?
