House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Wednesday mocked the GOP's positions on abortion rights after Sen. Lindsey Graham introduced legislation that would ban abortion nationwide after 15 weeks of pregnancy and many of his fellow Republicans dismissed the proposal.
"I think what you're seeing there is a conflict within the Republican Party. There are those in the party who think life begins at the candlelight dinner the night before," Pelosi told reporters during her press conference when asked about Graham's bill and other Republicans' reactions.

You might be right. I’m a Protestant Baptist but many of us we’re late to the awareness of baby killing. You Catholics were fist and deserve credit for it!
LOL! The candlelight dinner - most of them wouldn’t even know what it was - went away by the early 70s.
For awhile, it went at least to drinks in a fern bar (read the depressing book, Looking for Mr. Goodbar) and now I’m not sure anybody even requires that.
Of course, since they’re now starting to sexualize them in primary school with things I actually had never even seen until adulthood, what can we expect?
And btw, assuming that candlelight dinner was a euphemism for sex, yes, human life does begin at conception.
