Former U.S. President Donald Trump will be invited to a special memorial service for Queen Elizabeth II attended by the Queen’s Colour Squadron in America’s Washington National Cathedral.
President Trump has not been invited to the Queen’s state funeral in Westminster Abbey and nor have Barack Obama, George Bush, Bill Clinton, or Jimmy Carter, such is the demand among the sitting political leaders, but the living former presidents will all be invited to an invitation-only service at the “spiritual home” of Anglicanism in America organised in partnership with the British Embassy, reports The Times of London.

That was my first thought. Also there's a good possibility he will be subjected to mob violence.
President Trump isn't an Anglican, and there's no evidence the Queen even liked him. Why should he go?

Is it some sort of English custom to put the corpses of old ladies on a prolonged farewell tour before they are buried? Suspect the service at that cathedral will feature a zoom link to England. Pity they couldn’t fly the corpse over for an appearance. Going to that service is the ultimate in virtue signaling.
Stay away. Assassination risk. They’ll goad him into doing something that will put him in front of a DC jury.

I think he should go.
It could be him setting a trap for the DOJ and FBI, which are
right now on very thin ice. If they tried even one more very
questionable move, it might be the end of both.
If I were Trump coming back in, I’d disband both the DOJ and
the FBI.
They could both be reborn, with new leadership and staff
at a later date, with completely new staff who had been
vetted and deemed worthy of the positions.
I’d also do a review of all the departments and agencies
in the federal government, and slice off about 75% of them.
I believe a DOJ is needed, but I remain unconvinced the
FBI is, and mainly because of their own shenanigans.
I may be wrong about the DOJ though. I certainly am not
impressed by their actions over the last 30 years.
Wasn’t there a situation in Arkansas that needed to be
investigated, with many people dying under mysterious
circumstances? Did anyone give that a look see?
What about the other obvious crimes, like Al Gore getting
$100,000 from a religious organization.
And the FBI’s actions at Waco, Ruby Ridge, and TWA flight
800? Promotions? Good grief!
The Black Knight is still hanging in the church just off the cliffs of Dover, as has been for over a thousand years! He was about 5 feet tall if his hanging tomb is accurate.
That would be quite a video - the feds burning down the National Cathedral and killing everyone inside. They’ve done that stuff before.
