A new report from the Department of the Interior shows the Biden Administration has leased fewer acres of land for oil and gas drilling on federal lands and waters since former President Harry Truman in the 1940s.
The Department of the Interior has given out leases for 126,228 acres through August 20, 2022, according to analysis from the Wall Street Journal. The last president to lease out less than 4.4 million acres at this point in the first term of his presidency was Richard Nixon in 1969-1970.
“Joe Biden has been, I won’t say a closet radical, but simply a radical throughout his entire career in public service,” Larry Behrans, communications director for Power the Future, told One America News. “And so the fact that he had the reins of the federal government and is punishing American energy independence like he has is something that really should surprise no one.”

Yet ANOTHER of Nixon’s ‘gifts’ to the country. Note how 3 years later, pretty much the EXACT amount of time that oil would have flowed from this non-leased land, the Arab Oil Embargo hit. Absolute PERFECT timing.
Again utterly unconstitutional. That land is constitutionally and presumptively STATE LAND not federal land.

The historical and constitutional presumption is that the federal government started with no power or ownership. The Constitution created the feds. The feds only power is limited, delegated, and enumerated by the Constitution.
So the constitutional presumption is the State owns all the land within its borders. The Left began eroding this with stealth Leftist Teddy Roosevelt’s “National Park” scheme - utterly unconstitutional. “Who cares?” is or was the common cry. Well because it has lead to this. It was the foot in the door.
How many get that or don’t get that these days?
It’s not that surprising that the deep state had a bitter senile basement dweller biden installed in the highest office in the land.
While trying their best to make Trump..who had the economy humming..and he had our enemies in check.. ineligible to run for office. By any means.
