I will never understand how cruel people can be to dogs. As dark as my mind gets about some people should be deaded for human on human crimes, I just cannot understand neglecting, abusing such friendly, loving, loyal, creatures as doggies.

There are only 3 things they need:
1. Water and food.
2. Shelter when needed.
3. Love and attention from their humans.

Yes, I'm a member of the ASPCA. No, I'm not into all animals, but c'mon dogs?...they give so much affection at such little cost. Our Chi-Chi is the joy of our life as we watch TV with her nestled up in her couch section. For no reason, she will just reach over with a quick kiss for my wife or myself and then settle back down in her spot.

I would give my life for Lola before many human beings.

I don’t know, either.

My beloved boy Hrafi has osteosarcoma and I have sold nearly everything I have of any value, begged for donations and done without necessities for myself, all for the love in his eyes.

Despite 9 months of “cutting edge vet care”, he is at the point where the leg has to go.

His lungs are clear, he’s happy and has a great appetite so now I face the sorrow of amputation to help him live his best life, anyway.

I will keep going until I have nothing left, all for the love of my dog.

This kind of crap just guts me.

Some of us give all for our dogs and others are soulless and cruel to them.

/off on today’s crying jag, now
