Video shows Democrat official Robert Telles, accused of murdering an investigative reporter this month, being arrested in 2020 in Las Vegas.
The Las Vegas police body camera video showed Telles, who at the time was taken into custody regarding accusations of domestic battery and subsequently resisting arrest, with officers outside his home, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported Thursday.

If I am the cop, and I am arresting someone who says “I am a public official.” I would respond, “What a coincidence! So am I!”
There is nothing cops like better than someone saying “DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM!?”
I’m not sure, but I believe he feels they want to take him down because he’s a public official. I mean he only said it in his drunken sloppy voice a billion times, but I think that’s how he “may” feel. Hard to tell. /S
When I was a public official, I routinely told speaking groups to make sure they ended up with one of my cards, that the phone number on it rings the phone I carry. And if they get a ticket, be sure to call me up, and I would meet them at city hall and take them inside and show them where the transaction window was at, so they could pay their fine! And then we could go out for coffee, or lunch, or maybe even an adult beverage, depending on time of day.

The New York Times in a major article on the killing of Law Vegas journalist Jeff German, never mentioned that Telles was a Democrat politician. The writers Nicholas Bogel-Burroughs and Mike Baker, only mentioned that “Mr. Telles then lost a primary campaign to Ms. Reid”. Page 17, “Violent End to a Career Exposing Las Vegas Sins” (page 1 & 17), Sept. 11, 2022.
