Special counsel John Durham filed a pre-trial motion in limine on Sept. 13 in his false statements case against Igor Danchenko, the primary sub-source of Christopher Steele’s dossier on Donald Trump. Danchenko, who is charged with five counts of lying to the FBI about his sources for the dossier, had earlier filed a motion to dismiss the charges against him.

Perhaps the most stunning disclosure is that Danchenko was given confidential human source (CHS) status by the FBI in March 2017. Notably, this was after Danchenko had disowned the Steele dossier in a January 2017 FBI interview, having admitted that it was based on gossip and rumors. Given the admission, there was no legitimate reason to extend the protections of CHS status to Danchenko, who no longer had any bona fide value to the FBI’s investigation into alleged Trump–Russia collusion.

FBI and CIA have been doing their best to recruit only sociopaths for decades. The response of the ‘rank and file’ proves how successful malicious recruiting has been, even though a very few with a conscience slipped through.

Questions that need answering:
1) Name of individual who put Danchenko on the FBI payroll.
2) Names of all who reviewed, approved, or managed it.
3) Names of all who told the indidivudal or the approvers to put Danchenko on the FBI payroll.
4) Name of person responsible for informing the FISA court that the one of Steele Dossier’s main sources had admitted making up material, thus compromising the entire product, thus invlidating the FISA surveillance application.
5) Names of all persons within the FBI, DoJ AND CONGRESS who knew Danchenko had admitted that his information was bogus, and dates they found out.
6) As #5, names of those who knew Danchenko had been placed on the FBI payroll as a CHS, and when they first knew it.
7) Reasons all persons involved in putting Danchenko on the FBI payroll give for doing so, or approving it, or not informing the FISA court, or not informing Congress officially. (I suspect Schiff knew before the fact, but that’s not the same thing...).
8) When did those who signed the FISA warrant applications first learn that Danchenko had admitted making up his allegations?
Those people are ethically and morally bankrupt. Golden handcuffs indeed.
