Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) on Sunday expressed confidence that the public would support his 15-week federal abortion ban proposal but acknowledged it does not have the votes to pass the Senate.
“I’m pro-life, even in an election year,” Graham told “Fox News Sunday” anchor Shannon Bream.
“I am confident the American people would accept a national ban on abortion at 15 weeks,” Graham said. “And to those who suggest that being pro-life is losing politics, I reject that.”
The South Carolina Republican on Tuesday introduced a bill that would prohibit abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy nationwide, carving out exceptions for rape, incest and when the mother’s life is in danger.
The move has attracted criticism from some in his own party, who expressed a desire to leave abortion legislation to states after the Supreme Court voted to overturn Roe v. Wade in June.

Deep State masters getting worried about the elections so they throw Goober Graham and Judas Pence out there to push the national abortion ban. The minute I heard Goober saying this my first thought, like everyone else’s around here, was this fool is trying to lose the midterms for the GOP!

Yep. The right is happy with where it is now. However, this nonsense can really piss off and motivate the left, which I believe is what is intended.
Now that I think about it, it seems like Biden is trolling the right and Graham, et al are trolling the left. Perhaps the conspiracy theorists are right about the deep state wanting a civil war, which will force the federal government to take “drastic” action.

this whole thing makes me SICK. He’s basically advocating for legal abortion for up to 4 month of pregnancy. He’s funding PP and all the wickedness that goes with this. I pray the Holy Spirit crushes linda graham and ALL his friends that agree with him. This is truly wicked.

I am Pro-Life too but I know folks want to hear about the Biden Economy as in inflation food prices still soar as they try to control gasoline prices in the short term until after November.
Why can’t Lindsey articulate that?
I support it, but I also live in reality.
The States is where this battle has to be fought now. The same legal concept that makes Rod v Wade invalid law, also makes a national abortion ban am invalid law.
First we must win in most states. Once that’s done, we can talk about a constitutional amendment that recognizes the unborn as fully human and possessing the same natural and civil rights as all people.
