YLER, Texas (KLTV) - Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott leads Democrat Beto O’Rourke by nine points in the latest poll from the University of Texas at Tyler and The Dallas Morning News.The survey, conducted Sept. 6 to Sept. 13, shows Abbott leading O’Rourke 47% to 38%. This is up from Abbott’s seven point lead in the last poll conducted Aug. 1 through Aug. 7.
In the race for lieutenant governor, Republican incumbent Dan Patrick leads Democrat Mike Collier 39% to 28%.
In the race for Texas attorney general, Republican incumbent Ken Paxton’s lead over Rochelle Garza has widened. Paxton leads Garza 37% to 30%. The August poll showed a tighter race with Paxton leading Garza by just two points.

Texas is surely going purple.
This is somewhat disheartening because it may shut off the big national campaign money that Beta typically incinerates and direct it to winnable races elsewhere.
Paxton is the one who needs some help here. Last thing we need is a leftist AG. They can do a lot of damage - arguably more damage than the Gov.
Irish Bob is such an unlikeable putz. The more people see him the less they like him.
I’m baffled. Aside from single moms, Spanish speaking college students, and drunk drivers anonymous, who wants Beto for goodness sake? Oh…well maybe someone who sings on the road again.
I call Beto … Chief Jumps- on -Coffins. He shows up everywhere there’s a mass shooting and threatens to take “our” guns away.
Maybe Abbott can throw him some dough.
It’s gonna keep going purple if the low I.Q. voter crowd continues voting for jerks like the “Harvey” the Sheriff of San Antonio.
Abbott’s numbers are going to continue to rise as long as he keeps sending the Far Lefties busloads of their illegal voters.

The Hispanics here, many with strong roots in Texas, literally have SAVED THE STATE, as the Whites coming out of college are now hopeless brainwashed, as their parents, I guess, had higher priorities than raising them to be Americans.

I'm not into color labels. The Tru color of the #ComDem_Party is RED as in Commie Red. The crappy lying media changed the color to hide the communist inside the Dem_Party!
