said, "do you still need to take the Ivermectin prophylactically?"

No you should only take Ivermectin when you have the first signs of symptoms. Allow me to explain

First we need to know what SARS-CoV-2 is.
Montagnier and Perez put this paper out in July 2020. They sequenced isolate="Wuhan-Hu-1" which was they used to make the injections.
Plasmodium Yoelii (malaria) and Simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV) (HIV) and SARS(RaTG13) found here:
https://www.researchgate.net/publication/342926066_COVID-19_SARS_and_Bats_Coronaviruses_Genomes_Peculiar_Homologous_RNA_Sequences_Jean_Claude_perez_Luc_Montagnier

Plasmodium Yoelii (parasite) is the antigen or spike of the viral protein.

Ivermectin works in two ways.
The first way Ivermectin reduces the binding between antigen and the ACE2 and CD147 Basigin receptors. The binding with the ACE2 is well publicized and i will not get into details. If you want more info on CD147 Basigin receptors ask.
All antiparticles work in this way.

Second:
parasites are Lipid metabolism. Ivermectin creates an Inhibitory glutamate-gated chloride channels (GluCls.) Ivermectin creates an Inhibitory glutamate-gated chloride channels (GluCls.) The channel creates chloride and a free hydrogen atoms to flow through it. This disrupts cell migration. Also a reason not to take Ivermectin regularly. The three spikes of covid are a gene from the Plasmodium Yoelii parasite
