Due to the popularity of Home Improvement, advisers of former First Lady Hillary Clinton once suggested she appear on the children's sitcom. The information was picked up on in previously unreleased documents from Hillary Clinton’s years as first lady.
“I know this may sound like a wild idea, but I think it is an interesting one to discuss,” wrote the first lady’s press secretary, Lisa Caputo, in an August 1995 memo. “[ABC News producer] Rick Kaplan brought to my attention that Home Improvement would very much like to have Hillary make a guest appearance on its show ... They are willing to do a show on women, children and family issues or a show on whatever issues Hillary would like.”
....It was probably a blessing in disguise that Hillary Clinton did not make an appearance on Home Improvement in the 90s. Allen has made several digs at Hillary and her husband Bill over the years - even comparing the couple - married for 47 years - to herpes. Allen sat down with The Hollywood Reporter to discuss how his ABC sitcom Last Man Standing has recently become highly political. He explained that the “right-leaning character” he plays on the show is actually “milder” than he is, adding, “You wouldn’t want to hear what I have to say.”

Yes, I don’t think Tim Allen would give the Hildebeast the time of day. It might have been a big mistake for her. He might have thoroughly embarrassed her. In fact, I wish he would have.

It was and still is a very funny family friendly show

The term “more likeable” implies a degree of likeability that you wish to improve upon...a rather obvious disqualifier in Hillary’s case.

Came back again on another network but last episode was 2021
