Brothers of Italy's leader Giorgia Meloni wants the European Union to compensate members she claims have lost out since adopting the Euro -- and she’s borrowing a page from U.S. President Donald Trump in a campaign to put her country’s interests first. She spoke exclusively to Bloomberg in Rome before the Italian Elections.

I recall that the great Thornton Melon had an original family name of Meloni.
She’d like to talk to Trump about ways to implement his ideas in Italy. I like the lady.
Something I really, really like about her, is that her name is easy to pronounce and spell.
Unlike all those k and z and y people and countries.
Thorton traded a good Italian name like Meloni for ‘Melon’?
When I hear Melon, I think water-melon. Not near as worldly sounding as Mel-oni.
I’m sure he had his reasons. Maybe he wanted to play down any Italian link.

I watched one of her speeches in Italian on YouTube and her passion told you to make a wide path, I wish I understood the Italian language.

Most Americans don’t support the billions of dollars, and weapons going into Ukraine, rather than our Government focusing on the myriad of problems here at home. I posit everyday Italians would prefer the same in their country.
Focus on the problems in Italy experienced by the many ordinary citizens. Stay out of the proxy war in Ukraine.
