Mitch McConnell Says Inflation Is Top Midterm Issue After Helping Joe Biden Fuel It
Breitbart ^ | 09/29/2022 | WENDELL HUSEBØ

Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) on Wednesday said inflation is one of the top three greatest midterm issues — after he and the Washington, DC, establishment enabled the passage of several massive spending bills that fueled soaring costs.

Over the past two years, McConnell voted for the $1.5 trillion omnibus spending, $1.9 trillion for COVID-19 corporate bailout, and $1.2 trillion “infrastructure” bills – all items of legislation that have fueled inflation, according to experts.

McConnell is every bit as corrupt as Biden, they both get paid off by the same crowd. It’s just an illusion that they are on opposite sides.

the admin has a “perfect” trifecta stoking the fires of inflation

1. monetary policy — printing trillions of new fiat dollars, thus pushing up inflation from the demand side of the economy (more dollars chasing goods and services)

2. fiscal policy — giving away much of most of those trillions of new fake dollars to incentivize, reward people not to work ... thus pushing up inflation from the supply side of the economy (less goods and services available)

3. regulatory policy — edicts that prevent production of goods and services (including the key energy sector)...or render them more expensive to produce or supply ... thus pushing up inflation again from the supply side of the economy (reduced supply Part Two)

the admin couldn’t have a more destructive total policy package ... it all adds up to higher prices throughout the economy

Maybe it is.

But the danger is voter expectations, after the midterms.

What exactly can House and Senate GOP memeers, even if a majority, do about inflation in the next two years?

Not much in my view.

Yes, blaming Biden as in part responsible for the inflation is right, but that blame will not tamp down inflation, even if you win some mideterm elections on it.

So, as inflation and/or high interest rates, and or deflation and recession continues post November this year, what exactly will House and Senate GOP majorities do to change the current economic directions we are on. Without the White House I do not think they can do more than maybe hold back some more of Biden’s spending. They will not defeat inflation.

So what will they run on in 2024 - that its all still Biden’s fault - which will be true but will be a harder sell if they have had control of Congress for two years.

They need a better game plan than just “inflation”.

Congress controls the government’s purse strings.

Mitch McConnell has been the senate’s Republican leader since 2007.

The national debt was 9 trillion dollars in 2007.

Today, the national debt is over 30 trillion dollars.

$1.5 trillion omnibus spending.
$1.9 trillion for COVID-19 corporate bailout.
$1.2 trillion infrastructure.

$4.6 Trillion since Biden stole the election!!!
Plus all the billions for Ukraine money laundering.

Meanwhile the gov’t blames us for buying too much goods and raises interest rates which destroys our savings and stock accounts as the market has dropped by at least a 1/3rd and creates huge price increases for everything else.
