They covertly approached the British and French governments about their support in a coup against Hitler. The incompetents then in charge of the British and French governments thought it was some kind of trap, and declined to offer their support to the Germans’ coup against Hitler.

My guess is Russia would have difficulty building new Nukes without imports of chips and boards and components.

This might not be a good time to enter into agreements to limit ourselves, if they are limited anyway.
