Belarus's Lukashenko Accuses Ukraine of Border Provocations
US News ^ | 10/4/2022 | Reuters

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko accused neighbouring Ukraine on Tuesday of sending 15,000 troops to the border area to build defences and conduct reconnaissance, actions that he called "provocations".

Lukashenko allowed his close ally Russia in February to use Belarus as a staging post for its invasion of Ukraine. However, he has said Belarus is not a party to the conflict and that its own forces are not involved.

In comments carried by the state news agency BelTA, Lukashenko said the Ukrainian unit brought up to the border had blocked roads and was setting up checkpoints and firing positions.

"In a word, [Ukraine] has not only barricaded itself, but built a wall. Constantly conducting optical, radio-electronic and radio-technical reconnaissance of our territory, troops and objects," Lukashenko said.

Wounded veteran Bob Dole on “Democrat Wars” (video)

“If we added up the killed and wounded from the Democrat wars in this country, it would be about 1.6 million Americans.” - Bob Dole in his Vice Presidential debate against Mondale, 1976.

Most of those WWII. Are you suggesting our participation in that war was a mistake?

Biden is getting us into another endless war. He even ordered Zelensky not to negotiate for peace. Except for Iraq and the Spanish American War, every war in US History since 1847 has been started under a Democrat. The Democrat Party is historically the party of war.

Putin had been propping up his puppet with the bad comb-over. Lukashenko’s regime is on the verge of collapse. It’s just a matter of time.

Yeah that’s pretty ‘rich’ isn’t it? I would say that Lukashenko might be laying the predicate for Belarus entering the war on Russia’s side. Putin is likely pressuring him to do so.

Wait a minute! Part of the Russian invasion CAME FROM Belarussian territory. I think Ukraine is prudent to establish defenses against a repeat from that sector.

As for WWII, FDR spent the 30s leaving us unprepared, so we were ripe to be attacked on Dec7. Macarthur argued with FDR in the 30s that he was inviting war through weakness.

But it sounds like you might be a supporter of the latest , Joe Biden’s Democrat war in Ukraine? If so, I’m wasting my breath

Don’t worry Lukashenko, those troops are just there to assist with the new referendum that Ukraine is administering to determine if Belarus wants to join the Ukraine. It’s totally legitimate!

Pooty's Belarus Puppet has threatened to deploy 100K troops in Ukraine. It's probably unfair that Ukraine has 15K to oppose them, that's more than enough.

Lukashenko’s army is not loyal and will not fight for him. Lukashenko is saying this, faking that he just might fight Ukraine, to curry favor with Bad Vlad.

Lukashenko seems to confab with Vlad every few months. A few weeks ago he met with Vlad at Vlad’s sumptuous Sochi compound. Lukashenko feels that he is trying to sooth a little Napolean head case. But the food and liquor is good, so there is an upside for him. Especially when a few whores are part of Lukashenko’s entertainment.

Correct me if in error...

President Lukashenko, you let 120k Russian soldiers invade Ukraine from your country.

Considering Russia is again massing troops in Belarus, after already launching an invasion via Belarus in Feb, it seems pretty prudent to beef up border security there. Some “provocation”. I’m guessing the defenses there, including extensive anti-tank and anti-personnel mines, trenches, traps, etc, are well prepared. Too bad we can’t do the same on our border...

Putin is pressuring Lukashenko to send troops to Poland to stop NATO weapons transfers through the area. Not just Ukraine. That’s why Poland also built a wall on their border with Belarus. The warning to Putin is that if he uses a nuke on Ukraine, he loses Belarus and Kalingrad.

Do you support US sending tax dollars and even troops to Ukraine to fight Russia? John McCain was favoring that as long ago as 2014. We have a lot of McCainiacscon Freerepublic it seems. Even though this was us being prosecuted by a Democrat, the party that has brought us most of our wars

As provocative as locking your doors and owning a firearm. It only provokes the criminal mind, with evil intent. Which fits Putin and his KGB flunkies.

I don’t think either Putin or Lukashenko will order Belorussia to invade Ukraine any longer. The Belarusian military might be almost as likely to advance toward Minsk if forced to fight today. Seeing Russia’s loses they have less of a reason to fear Russia and more of a reason to fear Ukraine.
At this point Putin seems to do nothing right and attaching your fortunes to him seems like a bad bet.

“He allowed the Russian army to attack through Belarus and he is the one complaining of border provocations?!”

Getting supplied from Belorussia was part of the Putin Invasion plan..... BUT Belorussia hackers sabotaged the local railways systems. Thus making it very difficult for Belorussia to supply the Russian army when they moved towards Kiev.
________

Belarusian railway saboteurs helped thwart Russia’s assault on Kiev.....
https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2022/04/23/ukraine-belarus-railway-saboteurs-russia/
Apr 24, 2022 · The saboteurs drew inspiration from an earlier episode in Belarusian history, during World War II, when Belarusians opposed to the Nazi occupation blew up railway lines and train …

*******Massive FAIL for the buffoons named Putin and Lukashenko.
