anadians are finding it more difficult to pay for food, housing and transportation and nearly half are on the brink of insolvency as rising interest rates and soaring inflation continue to weigh on household budgets.
That's according to MNP's quarterly Consumer Debt Index released on Monday. The survey, which is conducted by Ipsos and tracks Canadians' attitudes towards their debt situation, found that 52 per cent of respondents say it is becoming less affordable to feed themselves and their families, an increase of five percentage points from December 2021.

Th Gobalist community wants everybody to think nations are going broke, everybody’s going to freeze and starve..... and need a “Savior”.
But, as so many say to my Canadian wife - “Canada is so much better than us. You have free healthcare”
everyone will be free of everything soon
Give me money back.
The only thing any nation needs to do, to provide quality healthcare, is to allow people to save tax free in an interest bearing account to a predetermined amount, say $2 million.
What show is that from?
[Th Gobalist community wants everybody to think nations are going broke ..... and need a “Savior”.]
Yes, and that man shall confirm (somehow) a 7-year deal of ‘Peace and Security’ (we’ve already seen it start, with those words).
When? Unknown but it was making progress ... then Covid-19(84) showed up.
The Big Reset on display. You will have nothing and be happy.

Justin Castro will fix it
Heavy consumer borrowing and debt have been very popular in Canada for decades.
Over $12.7 billion was pumped into Chinese investment in Canada in 2015, according to the National Bank of Canada. The investment accounted for one-third of all real estate purchases that were made Vancouver.

Uncle Fidel’s boy surely isn’t having trouble with heating costs, grocery costs,rent/mortgage,etc.
Things are going to get worse, before they get better.
Be prepared
Higher prices are intentional and carefully cultivated by government decisions. We’re being punished for working, saving and living frugally instead of being government dependents.
Canadians, like Brits, are all entitled to government health care whereas we aren't. The problem with their system is that you wait for months (or longer) for mediocre care.
A few years ago, after my second hip replacement,I spent some time studying the Canadian system to satisfy my curiosity.
I learned from the official in British Columbia government website that there was at least one kind of cardiac procedure for which a patient might wait for up to a year! And in Manitoba something like two-thirds of patients who needed a hip replacement were able to get one within six months. My hip replacements were both done within two weeks of my first call for a consultation.
And lastly,a few years ago one of Canada's Premieres (can't recall which one) needed a heart operation. As an important figure he surely could have gone to any major hospital in Montreal,Toronto or Vancouver but he chose to come to the US to have it done.It was a big story up there with most stories blasting him as some kind of traitor.
If the United States is suffering from a severe head cold, then Canada is down with pneumonia and is on life support....no “free health care” plan could begin to address that situation.
And we have one very severe “head cold” with the supposed leadership in the Oval Office and the Congress.
Only Mexico suffers more from the lack of competent governance on the part of Washington, DC. Look at Mexico’s problems with the shadow government under the control of the cartels, and the swarms of “immigrants” parading across Mexico, bearing disease, criminal elements and of course, just literally tons and tons of illegal and fatal drugs.
And that is all due to total failure to maintain any sort of order on the Mexican border.
If you want something, you’ll be unhappy.
This is the flaw of the Big Reset. There are going to be a lot more unhappy people than happy Big Resetters. I bet that the Big Resetters are planning to retreat to their bunkers while a famine or pandemic does a mass extinction, then they’ll come out and be happy.
