Republicans could pick up two Senate seats in Arizona and Nevada: Projections show GOP with 52-48 majority in the upper chamber after 2022 midterms

Senate Republicans are on track to pick up two seats in the western United States in the 2022 midterms to win back a majority in the upper chamber, according to a projection 30 days until Election Day.

Blake Masters could beat out Arizona Democratic Senator Mark Kelly, a RealClearPolitics projection shows, despite the incumbent having an average 1.8 percent polling advantage over his GOP challenger in the adjusted October figures.

The projection also estimates that Republican Adam Laxalt will best Democratic Senator Catherine Cortez Masto in Nevada in November. Laxalt has a 1.3 percent average polling advantage over the incumbent senator in the month ahead of the midterms.

Donald Trump is holding back-to-back rallies in Nevada and Arizona on Saturday and Sunday night, respectively, in a continued effort to propel his GOP picks to Congress in the midterm elections. He endorsed both Masters and Laxalt in their respective primary elections.

With McConnell as majority leader it’s meaningless.

This thread is waxing despondent. The UK media thinks it knows polling and who will be elected to the Senate?

Buahahahahahahahahahaha!

Nope. Peple forget 2016, when all the poony pundits had a run away win for Hillary. Buahahahahahahahaha!

The Republicas wil win more tan 4 in the Senate. More like 7.

And mnot nly that, they will bidding farewell to Old Kentucky himself. It;ll be Tim Scott, Ted Cruz or Rand Paul.

Nonsense, but your post is meaningless.

Roe vs. Wade was overturned due to President Trump's and Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's leadership. Now, Biden already has one new Supreme Court justice and IDK how many federal judges. It is not meaningless.

No, it's not. A Republican congress will ensure that Biden gets no legislation passed for the remainder of his term in office.

Clarence Thomas isn't getting any younger. Should the unthinkable happen, McConnell will hold his seat open just as he did for Antonin Scalia.

Should something happen to Biden, a Republican Senate will ensure the whoever Kamala Harris picks for VP will have to meet their approval.

And at the end of the day, I'd rather Mitch McConnell be the Senate Majority Leader than Chuck Schumer.

There are a lot of purists here on Free Republic, who are very critical of just about every Republican besides Donald Trump.

A do-nothing republican senate is better than a filibuster-busting democrat senate.

Funny. But we may have to thank the Saudis for a couple of seats in the Senate. Some of the voters saw that the price of gas keeps going up and they are blaming Biden.

“The Republicas wil win more tan 4 in the Senate. More like 7.”

I think you’re correct. I have 5-6 likely on my list.

In 2014 I was hearing the same exact things. And we took 9 seats that year.

It all depends on how much fraud the Rats get away with. RINO-controlled state legislatures allowed Rats to do as they pleased in 2020 in order to cheat Trump. I see no reason why they won’t also turn a blind eye to cheating against all MAGA candidates in the Mid-Terms.
