I disagree with the premise of the context of this Newsweek piece.

If this were a statement by Flynn offering support for Putin and his ilk, I have no truck with that since I view Putin as a KGB scum, because that is what he is. So, I wouldn't support Flynn offering that as praise as the context of the article fully implies.

However, if one actually watches the interview with Flynn, he doesn't offer "praise" to Putin or Medvedev in the way the article implies.

Flynn is 'characterizing' them, meaning he is putting them in a category for the purpose of being engaged in their internal processes in a nationalistic way. General Flynn is speaking of Putin in the exact same way I have heard, over the years, Intelligence personnel discussing the governmental affairs over the years. General Flynn's background is intelligence, and I fully expect to hear him speak in this fashion. This is intelligence-speak.

His exact words are:

"...when you see Putin, and a very interesting speech that was just given, literally, in the last couple of days by Medvedev, okay, the former...okay, so Medvedev is another guy in the heirarchy, was the President of Russia for a short period of time, Medvedev's speech was very stern.

And so, we have got to pay attention, because these are not, these are not uh, shy leaders, these are bold leaders who have every, uh, everything at stake in terms of protecting their country. So these fools, these fools, and I said about Zelensky and his statements about nuclear war people can go to the various Telegram and my various social media to see it, that is a foolish person. But what's more dangerous than that is a dangerous fool..."

It is worthy to note however, regardless of what Flynn said, that this is from Newsweek, and on that same page as the linked article which has articles such as: Military Women Need Options, and "No, OPEC's Oil Production Cut Isn't Joe Biden's Fault". It is wise to consider the source of the information.

But Zelensky is all on board with the likes of Soros and the WEF, not to mention in complete agreement ideologically with someone like Trudeau and great swaths of the American Left.

So, Flynn is, in my opinion, 100% correct to call Zelensky a fool, and a dangerous one.

Like so many other issues the powers that be aren’t brooking anything other than the party line. That is, global climate change is real, masks work to stop spread of Covid and Putin is an evil madman.

Those proposing nuanced views and suspecting shades of gray can go pound salt.
