Source for those numbers you threw out like candy to unsuspecting children?

OK, I'll bite. Blue text - my assertion; black text is proof, indents are blockquotes from the source.

The Russians don’t count their own casualties; they don’t even recover their own dead. According to one official press statement by Russia you could count the Moskva casualties on the fingers of one hand - leading to families of missing sailors from that ship calling bullshit.

Source: "One serviceman died, 27 missing in action after fire on Moskva missile cruiser - statement" (TASS) reports the Russian Defense Ministry as saying:

On April 13, the Moskva missile cruiser sustained serious damage due to detonation of ammunition caused by a fire. Attempts to extinguish the fire were fruitless. During the damage control, one serviceman died, 27 more gone missing in actions... The remaining 396 crew members were evacuated...

The Russian proxies in the occupied regions are literally making numbers up - the one body that is actually producing evidenced statistics for Russia is the DNR Human Rights ombudsman operating out of the same building as the FSB... And they’ve been contradicting the LDNR paramilitary puppet’s numbers for three years straight.

Source: I've given this to you countless times.  "Annual Reports - Human Rights Ombudsman in the Donetsk People's Republic " (ombudsman-dnr.ru) contains multiple annual reports AND monthly reports. You'll have to actually do some reading to see what's there. But here's one of its monthly reports, from 27th December 2021. Note the tone of this is EXTREMELY anti-Ukrainian and avoids mentioning how many of the 76 were civilians (and Russian civilians, not Ukrainian civilians) - so, still clearly biased. Nonetheless it undermines Pushilin's lurid insinuations of mass murders and genocide as if people were dying by the thousands:

In turn, Roman Savchenko, Deputy Manager of the Human Rights Ombudsman’s Office in the DPR... noted that, according to official data, 5,037 people, including 91 children, have died since the beginning of the conflict on the territory of the DPR. About 8000 residents of the Republic sustained injuries of varying severity. Over 1600 people became disabled.

“In 2021, as a result of hostilities in the Republic, 76 people died, which is 46% more than in the previous 2020. The number of wounded people increased by 21% and now it is 128 people. In 2021, a child died for the first time since 2018” said Roman Savchenko.

Russia openly admits it is entirely reliant on other parties’evidence to support its numbers.

Peskov mentioned heavy losses by Russia in April, without quantifying them. When challenged on this, he backpedalled and said “You and I have the same numbers as those published by the defence ministry... This is a substantial number.”

Weirdly, according to TASS in April seemed able to comment on non-Russian death counts to a profoundly specific number (amazing for a force that doesn't count bodies), but couldn't quantify the Russian body count.,

"The Russian Defense Ministry has reliable statistics on the true losses in the Ukrainian army, National Guard and among the arriving foreign mercenaries, which Zelensky is frightened to communicate to the people of Ukraine. To date, irretrievable losses are 23,367," Konashenkov said.

To date Russia has only given two counts for its own casualties for the entirety of the war: March 25, when it said 1,351 Russian soldiers had been killed and 3,825 wounded; and more recently when it released figures to the press. On both occasions Russia didn't explain where its figures come from. By contrast, a joint project between Mediazona and the BBC News Russian Service has a published methodology - it monitors “social media posts by relatives, reports in local media, and statements of the local authorities.” This is likely to be very unreliable, but by August had documented 5,185 Russian deaths in Ukraine... More than 4x the number Russia was prepared to admit to.

Ukraine of course claims to have seen far more than that just dead on the streets or in morgues - and seems quite able to produce identity papers for injured and dead Russians.

So unless Russia is taking its time to count every last dead Uke but just won't tell anybody that it's doing this, the far more likely story is that they use the BBC/Mediazona verified figures for the grunt body count, and maybe the Ukrainian intel for higher profile casualties.

And finally, the referendum in Zaporozhia is so obviously faked that a Russian station’s TV reporter and crew spent five minutes talking about the count while a counter was merrily chucking unused ballot sheets onto the Yes pile and saying “da!” as she was doing it!

OK, you got me, it was Donetsk!

The 1HD channel news team broadcast the chair of the commission not even looking at what was (not) marked on the ballot, so live on Russian TV was calling all the receipts for "yes" even when right in front of the TV camera you could see they were fresh, unmarked ballot sheets. NEXTA (@nexta_tv): "How many blank ballots did you count? Or is the phrase "silence means consent" written into their order of "voting"? By the way, note that the "chairman of the commission" does not even look at the ballots, but simply defiantly announces the results "for"."|nitter

Julia Davis offers honest translations in these videos. She is a great source to see what the Russian propagandists are broadcasting there.

This is only the latest "update" we've had of the hundreds already posted today. Why are there so many Soros, Biden and Schwabistas posting on the Free Republic?

And why do they insist on polluting and overwhelming the forum with their crap? One or two threads a day with their nonsense propaganda should be sufficient, but these “look at meeeeee!” wanks want to take over the news feed with this bovine excrement.

I wish the Mods would limit them. The propagandists stink this place up.

“Free Republic own place exists for conservatives.

Yes!
Free Republic gathering places for independent, grass-roots conservatism to share diversity of opinions and viewpoints

NOT JUST for Pro-Putin C.I.N.O.’s [Conservatives in name only]

And, NOT for trash-talking Freepers that start out with simply name calling, then becomes “bullying” when persistent the name-calling. This is cyberbullying extends name-calling into abuse with forms of slander and rumors.

This just doesn’t belong on Free Republic.

“Free Republic own place exists for conservatives.”

Yes! I have been here since 2000. Also, I am rather proud of my reputation. I have received multiple compliments in regard to handling the verbiage ‘drama’ of others that has been directed to me. I find it better to just not respond to negative comments. This lets these folks develop their own observable reputations.

I believe Free Republic is a gathering places for independent, grass-roots conservatism to share diversity of opinions and viewpoints. As I have said before, I honor the of freedom of others to express their views even if opposite to my viewpoint.

BUT, FR is NOT for trash-talking Freepers that start out with simply name-calling. Persistent name-calling develops into “bullying.” This cyber-bullying often extends from name-calling into abusive slander.

Trash-talk just DOES NOT belong on Free Republic.

It’s reported that Putin has rotated his troops out. R&R. The troops that have recently retreated were various non Russian army soldiers. Such as the local militias, Wagner group and the Chechens. Those troops are under orders to pull back and give up territory if they are outnumbered. Sure Ukraine has gained territory, but it’s been at a huge cost. Colonel Macgregor estimates about 100,000 Ukrainians have been killed with 2 or 3x that number wounded.

Further it’s very hard to do an offensive when it’s muddy in Ukraine. Refer to WW2 for that. Soon the ground will be frozen. And right now Russia is massing troops for a new offensive. You call it a failed mobilization. How will you know it’s failed until Russia launches it’s attack? And the newly mobilized troops are largely being sent elsewhere in Russia, to free up active service personnel to redeploy to Ukraine.

As for Belarus, it makes sense for Putin to play that card. If all Belarus does is sabre rattle and tie up Ukrainian forces, it accomplishes a Russian goal. Why not play that card?

You won’t have to wait long to see this all play out. The ground will be frozen soon enough.

Don’t preach to me about what is acceptable or not, especially coming from the likes of you who has spouted neo-Nazi language on these forums.

Get a mod involved if you feel butthurt, etc.

Otherwise, what you have to say regarding this matter is irrelevant to me regardless of the “reputation” you claim you have, propaganda peddler and neo-Nazi apologist, sympathizer and supporter.

“Don’t preach to me.”

OK, I will re-word my comment:

Agree that this is not my role to convince you or reprove anyone else. Christians recognize that the work of the Holy Spirit convicts, Greek word elencho, each of us [you and me] by convincing us of the truth; to reprove; to accuse, or refute. This action exposes evil and reproves us [you and me] by convincing us our need for a Savior. In other words, we all sin.

So, I am in agreement with you recognizing that Free Republic exists for conservatives.

Yes! I have been here since 2000. And, instead of being “proud of my reputation,” let me amend this to say instead I work hard to handle the ‘dramatic’ name-calling directed to me. I find it best to not respond in kind to rude aggressive comments. Actually, each one of us: Freepers will ultimately develop our own recognizable reputations.

I absolutely believe Free Republic is a gathering places for independent, grass-roots conservatism to share diversity of opinions and viewpoints. As I have said before, I honor the of freedom of others to express their views even if in opposition to my viewpoint.

STILL, FR is NOT for trash-talking Freepers that start out with simply name-calling. Persistent name-calling develops into “bullying.” This cyber-bullying often extends from name-calling into abusive slander.

Trash-talk just DOES NOT belong on Free Republic.

Putting me in the keywords is certain a case of projection, isn't it?

You're the one that posts non-stop Biden regime propaganda and lies. And, its all you and a few dozen others of your fellow trolls do.

We HAVE NO NATIONAL INTEREST in Ukraine. We have problems we haven't seen in this country since the 1970s and one of the most important mid-terms coming up in our lifetimes. Anyone obsessed with promoting the Biden regime narrative in Ukraine is likely the troll.

Anyone can look at my replies and posts and see I make comments about many other issues. I only post about the war as much as I do to counter the lies you and your ilk post non-stop here.
