You summed it up perfectly. If the kid wanted his junk cut off—no problem.

While I don't think it is a great idea for anyone to get a tattoo, least of all children, in the scheme of the current zeitgeist it's a nothing burger.

Plus, this is the ghetto, and a bootleg tattoo artist is at least some kind of babysitter when mom is going clubbing.

I’ve always thought that too. until my wife Joy passed away in 2018 and at age 73 I got my first and last tattoo. Her name inside a small heart on my left forearm. My kids, all adults, were shocked but they all liked me having their mom’s name on my arm.
