I saw that video. So many evils. Putting the new city into a toxic waste area. Kicking out the residents without giving them enough money to set-up somewhere else. Locating in a place with no easy access to the supply chain. Forcing businesses to relocate (which they sneakily got around anyway.)

If China isn't already completely fascist, then they will be soon. I guess it's a good thing that fascist countries are subject to death by a thousand acts of corruption, but so much suffering until the death knell rings.

Whatever expertise is available is not what is generally at work in such projects there. That’s a consequence of a stale single party state dictatorship.
