The world power structures are beginning to change. Israel and Saudi Arabia are finding that they have common security concerns. They no longer trust the United States to oppose and keep their common enemy Iran in check and nuclear free. Saudi Arabia is essentially in the oil business with Russia and makes far more money cooperating with Russia than opposing it. It views Russia as a power that has influence restraining Iran. Israel also shares cultural, business and intellectual ties with Russia. A working Israel/Russia/Saudi cooperation sphere independent of the US makes sense for these nations.

Anyone listening to foreign news stations are hearing about power structure changes...and why. Unless the US clears out all the oldsters like Pelosi and Shukmer our country will never catch up to the modern age on th intrnational stage.

Israeli and Saudi failure to support Ukraine or the West may indicate that both countries are hedging their bets in Cold War II. Russia has fallen short of their military goals in this war, but the overall Chinese, Russian, and Iranian goal is to topple what Biden has called the rules based international order, i.e., Western dominance. Additionally, they are minding their own business. Perhaps we should mind ours as well.
