The only logical reaction to this story is this: lady, what the hell are you doing? Nevada has become the sleeper race in the closing weeks of the 2022 midterms because Democrats are imploding. The political machine built by the late Democratic Sen. Harry Reid that provided a political steel curtain of protection for his party is dissolving at the worst moment. The state party's leadership got a far-left makeover, which caused a flurry of resignations from Reid's allies. Intraparty squabbles further crippled the apparatus while Reid’s former top lieutenant, Rebecca Lambe, a firecracker political operative, did her best to maintain the system. Yet, this was an institutional crackup that was too great to mend, and now the GOP is surging, and labor unions, a key voting bloc in the Reid machine, are sitting on the sidelines.
To further compound Nevada Democrats’ troubles, Latino voters appear unwilling to turn out to support incumbent Democratic Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto; the first Latina elected to the U.S. Senate. This recent development has sent the national Democratic Party into panic mode. Latinos remain neutral because they’re not thrilled with the state of the economy and the quality of the job market. Inflation has hammered the state like a sledgehammer, and Masto is AWOL. And now, Masto appears to be doing everything she can to worsen relations with the state’s Hispanic voter base. She was awarded a community leadership award from a Latino advocacy group and decided to ditch the event

It’s like Harry getting beat up all over again.
Which is probably a nice break from the eternal flames.
Yes, that ranked choice voting is the greatest threat.
The ad with the alleged vet stating that he’s denied the right to vote really pisses me off. Make a choice assclown and then you can vote. Of course the portrayal will convince lots of folks that will do NO research to vote yes. We’ve seen it too many times. 🤬
Yeah prop 3. Beware
IF she loses, the GOP could be poised to run the table. Hopefully it happens as voters need to wake up.
Hope so.
Voting NO on all state issues, and one city one!
How many registered voters in Nevada???
How can 600,000 be NON- Party or independent??
On her good days, she blinded by evil.
Nevada Ping!
To add your name to the growing Nevada ping list, FReepmail me...
“They” just toss BS out there and some people just buy it without question.
Two things come to mind:
First, the democrats treat all minorities as a unitary block. According to them Latinos and Blacks are “people of color.” Thus, you can pretty much do what you would like and treat them however because no matter what, you have their vote. End of story.
Second (and related to the above), I don’t care if their candidate shows up to this event or does whatever. It is the issues that are driving this election. The democrat’s messes have direct impact on the voting constituencies that they claim to support.
“Vote for me cause your skin color says you have to” isn’t really a good argument right about now. The dems vacation form addressing issues with heir voters could well be their downfall in epic proportion.
Sadly, this is a choice between a bad (Republican) and a horrible (Democrat) candidate. I’ll hold my nose and vote for Laxalt but this former Jeb supporter and Never Trumper is now leveraging Trump much like Lyn’ Ted has done to get help over the finish line. Bet we’ll seem him fit right in with the GOPe and RINO crowd.
Sadly that’s what it will take to dump masto. 🤔
Saw on the local news today that she’s not going to debate, and they seemed just freaking fine with it. This last batch of thieves in there have spent more trillions that any time in history, and they don’t have to give a F’ing account for a penny of it!!!!!
