The Democratic hold on Latino voters is WANING, as members of the fast-growing demographic tack right on immigration, abortion, inflation, and crime in what could be a midterm ballot game-changer, polls show
UK Daily Mail ^ | October 21 2022 | JAMES REINL

Nearly a quarter of Latino voters have not yet decided who they will vote for in the upcoming midterm elections — creating a significant unknown for a group that has drifted towards the Republicans in recent years.

An Axios-Ipsos poll on the fast-growing demographic on Thursday found that while a third of Latino voters said they’ll vote for Democrats, and 18 percent said they’ll back Republicans on November 8, another 23 percent said they had yet to decide.

Even a small loss of support among Hispanics — a key part of the Democratic coalition of voters that brought President Joe Biden to power — could mean the loss of the House of Representatives and possibly the Senate for Democrats.

Personally find it ironic that the Leftist Progressive DEMs have the numbers they do with the Latino voting block given most of the platform of the Leftist Progressive DEMs is antithetical culturally and religiously to most Latinos and their traditional family structure, values, etc.

It was a game changer for Trump. Trump won them for the republican party. He got 74,000,000 votes in 2020. The hispanic vote had a lot to do with it.

My advice for Democrats: DOUBLE DOWN on the climate scam, CRT, drag queen story hour, lockdowns, muzzle mandates, open borders, slavery “reparations,” and vaccine passports. Keep on referring to Hispanics as “breakfast tacos” and “Latinx” while you’re at it...

uhh by the way....most Hispanics say the Democrats DO NOT align with their values. Most DO NOT support gun grabbing. They certainly don’t support trannies in girls’ sports or bathrooms nor do they support CRT nor do they support teachers talking about sex to little kids in schools. Most of them vote Democrat because traditionally they voted Democrat and/or for free handouts from the government.

Abortion is simply not the vote winner Democrats are praying it is. Firstly, each state can make its own laws on the subject. Secondly, most voters support restrictions on it. Third, Hispanics tend to be more religious, tend to be Catholic, and the Catholic church is against abortion. Sure, Left leaning women think abortion is a big deal - but they were always going to vote Democrat anyway.

Most of the non Cuban, non Venezuelan, non Niceraguan Hispanics are starting down the same path as previous immigrant groups. At first they vote overwhelmingly Democrat. The longer they are in the US however, the more likely they are to vote Republican. After a while, what was a majority Democrat voting block becomes a majority Republican voting block. Gradually, the clash with their values overcomes the promise of free handouts.

Just look at the Irish, the Italians, the Poles, the Hungarians etc etc. Same thing happened.

I can’t wait for Asians to start waking up.

What is the tipping point, the percentage below which the Democrats cannot fall and still win a national election?

If Hispanics begin voting over 50% for Republicans, watch how fast the Democrats close the border and illegals are sent back across the border.

“I can’t wait for Asians to start waking up”

A tougher nut to crack me thinks. I just worked a photo shoot in an affluent Orange County CA. city High School. I have done this event for five years and have a good idea of the demographics of the school. 60% Asian, 25% Indian / Paki, 15% Caucasian (maybe a few Hispanics) Plastered on building walls were meeting notifications for the Student Democrat Socialist Association.

If Hispanics start voting more than 50% Republican its over for Democrats.

They lose White voters so badly that they have to get huge majorities - monolithic majorities from all minority groups in order to win. If the single largest minority group becomes only a slight positive for them they lose. If that group goes even slightly Republican.......Katy bar the door.

Re: "Trump won them [Hispanic voters] for the Republican Party."

Sorry, that is not correct.

2016 - Hispanic Vote - Trump - 28%

2020 - Hispanic Vote - Trump - 32%

The highest Hispanic percentage a GOP Presidential candidate has ever received was 40%, by George W. Bush, in 2004.

Where are the “big tent” republicans welcoming these social conservatives into the party? Oh, they really dont want more MAGA voters. Their “big tent” was going after half the homo vote.

Asian Indians - the best educated and most affluent immigrant group in the USA - are overwhelmingly Leftist.

In 2012, 80% of Asian American Indians voted to reelect Barack Obama.

In 2016, 77% voted for Hillary Clinton.

There is Asian Indian voting data for 2020, but it is behind a pay wall.

Your data is likely suspect because it is based on the fraudulent election data of 2020. Why are hispanics breaking hard for republicans all of the sudden now? Hint: It’s not because of the awesomeness of Mitch and Kevin and all of the stinking rinos in charge of the party.

The Latinos are a hard working people, they are a strongly family oriented group, who aspire to the American dream. The RATS belief that they could hold them in line has backfired.
