The Jan 6 committee is not a legitimate Congressional hearing under their own rules. Without having a ranking opposition member and counsel it is just a show trial and can only hurt President Trump’s agenda.
Rassmussen polls have consistently shown that a significant majority of voters either strongly or likely believe that the 2020 election was a fraud. This despite the best efforts of the media to gaslight people into accepting the fraud as truth.
There will be time in the next Congress to publicly examine the suppressed evidence of election fraud and the legal strategy that President Trump’s team was attempting to use to prevent certification of this fraud. He can testify then before a legitimate committee with both sides represented according to regular order.
