Commentary: The “Great Reset” Is Real And Wreaking Havoc

Why are global elites demanding poor nations make energy expensive?

Over the last decade, the World Economic Forum (WEF), the United Nations’ International Monetary Fund (IMF), and the World Bank have all urged poor nations to stop subsidizing fossil fuels. “End fossil fuel subsidies and reset the economy for a better world,” read the headline of a June 2020 WEF article about the launch of its “Great Reset” initiative.

-SNIP-

And, it’s not just Haiti. Over 40 nations since 2005 have triggered riots after cutting fuel subsidies or otherwise raising energy prices. It happened earlier this year in Kazakhstan, Ecuador in 2019, Nigeria in 2012, Bolivia in 2010, and Indonesia in 2005. “What is interesting,” note researchers, “is that the story plays out in almost the same way, and the consequences of both action—and inaction—are very similar as well.”

All of which begs the question: why, if cutting fuel subsidies results in social chaos and the overthrow of governments, do global elites at the WEF, UN, and World Bank keep demanding poor nations do it?

You can’t “Build Back Better” until you have the “Great Reset”.

If people want to understand why countries representing 80% of the world’s population (led by China and India) have NOT imposed ‘sanctions’ on Russia, it simply comes down to resource availability, particularly in regard to energy.

Russia will sell them cheap, high quality, fuels (and other critical stuff, like fertilizer) with NO STRINGS. This is the same stuff that the West used to achieve First World living standards.

The Globalist West (the other 20% of the world) is DEMANDING that the 80% NOT use fossil fuels and instead use solar/wind/batteries, which cost at least 5 times as much for the same power. And just now, what does Europe do once they chose to no longer buy gas from Russia? - they go back to coal, the dirtiest fuel of all...but it’s still windmills for the Third World, as far as the West is concerned.

Easy decision for these countries and like it or not, Putin is FAR MORE POPULAR in these countries than Biden could even dream of. And, of course, that’s why the Neocons are determined to drive Putin from power.

this was inevitable. am sure it’s not the only one, as these solar “farms” are usually unattended:

They want to lower the standard of living in Western countries to that of the third world. “You will live like a Haitian and you will be happy”. “You will eat ze bugs like an African” and enjoy it.”

“China will build 150 coal fired power plants in the next few years but you will shut down ALL of yours to save the planet. No you can’t have any nuclear power plants even though they don’t contribute to GW.”

“We billionaire elite will eat steaks and have our mansions and private jets while you toil in the mud and freeze in the winter. We are your betters”.

In case people haven’t noticed, NONE OF THIS MAKES ANY SENSE.

“In case people haven’t noticed, NONE OF THIS MAKES ANY SENSE.”

Actually it makes PERFECT SENSE to me. To the Globalists there are only two classes of people in the world - the Globalists themselves and the other 99.99% of the world’s population. Throw in Global Warming and, at least to them, it is literally IMPOSSIBLE for the 99.99% to all live at Western levels...so they need to be brought down (if Westerners) and held down (if non-Westerners). Bundle them up into little apartments being the cogs keeping systems running for the Globalists, but with very little resource usage. If they complain, then simply apply the ‘tools of government’ (I have a lot on that, on my home page) to bring them back into line, as Canada did with their truckers.

So the Globalists and the relative handful of super-rich live the high life...the rest are surfs...that simple.

As for China, they do need to be dealt with, hence the attempt to get a war started with them over Taiwan.

People who think of themselves as ‘elites’ and entitled to manipulate the lives of others always eventually pay the price. Some go the same route as Ceaușescu, some the route of Bernie Madoff, but all lose in the end. No way self-important people like Klaus Schwab, or George Soros will end up on top. Just won't happen.

Unintended consequences have unexpected results.

It's the same elitist mentality as those smug Germans laughing at Trump.

Excellent article. I read every word of it...carefully.

The problem is that professors and bureaucrats with absolutely zero practical experience have been exerting influence over governments and policy for too damn long.

The pendulum is going to swing back to common sense with a vengeance and if some of these armchair general academics, bureaucrats, and politicians lose their heads...so much the better.

As an aside, does anyone remember Prof Jonathan Gruber of MIT whom Obama chose to implement Obamacare?

He is the perfect example of idiot academic. He admitted that none--NONE--of these ideas had every been tested in the real world. He was perfectly willing to scrap our nation's healthcare system for one never tested without for a moment considering or giving a damn about its effects on Americans.

That ought to be a capital crime.

"we all know it is DELIBERATE all of it. They want to crash the system so they can build back with complete control"

And that, in a nutshell, is exactly what they are doing.
