Former President Trump told Washington Post journalist Bob Woodward that he had “good chemistry” with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, Woodward revealed in a new clip from his new audiobook.
In the clip, Trump tells Woodward, “I’m the only one he deals with,” in reference to Kim.
“The word chemistry. You meet somebody and you have a good chemistry,” Trump added about the North Korean leader. “You meet a woman. In one second, you know whether or not it’s all going to happen.”
Woodward had asked Trump about his relationship with Kim and told the former president that the CIA thinks he’s “ultimately stupid” —to which Trump answered the North Korean leader was “cunning” and “crafty.”

When did any other President or any member of Congress for that matter cross the line into NKorea? I’m waiting…
Not for nothing...but it was amazing to see Kim and Trump side by side....and the missiles stopped.
DT is “the art of the deal.” He’s definitely not like me - he can sit and talk a deal with just about anybody. People I wouldn’t even be in the same room with. It’s a little creepy, to be honest, but that’s leadership.
In contrast, ChoMoeJoe talks a big tough game about - for example - how awful the Ru$$ians are, but otoh he and Punter happily sold them our state secrets.
That is pretty much the root of it: Trump is not one of them.
That fills them with fear and dread.
I think that a better way to put it is that Rocket Man was scared of DJT and,as a result,he behaved himself while he was in office. It’s always a good thing when the world’s rogue nations are at least a little bit afraid of the President of the United States.
Why does Trump need to tell Woodward anything?

Trump has told the whole world the same thing about a 100 times.
And Little Kim wasn’t launching middles while Trump was in office
But for the sedition of DC and the reason of guys like Bolton and his own party supporting impeachment under certain conditions etc,,, he could have possibly changed the world.
But Kim knew no matter what he agreed to with Trump, that DC would undo it within weeks and possibly even remove Trump. More DC treason and sedition. Had DC simply backed him god only knows what he could have done.
Trump’s meetings with Kim, Xi, et.al., taught me a thing or two. Before Trump, I was on the old neocon bandwagon of ‘you don’t increase their stature by talking to them’. I still feel like smacking myself for such ignorant thinking. The results of Trump’s approach were clearly self evident. Granted, talking only works when you know the President has America’s interest in mind. As for Biden, he can’t even talk, he doesn’t give a damn about America and there’s no way for him to grift N. Korea. We won’t see him talk to Kim. That’s probably a good thing because he’d only eff it up.

President Trump said that the book was going to be written, with our without him. He wanted at least some input. We’ll never know whether it would have been better or worse either way.
But the president also said that the tapes were his, and not to be “sold,” but merely used by Woodward to keep memories fresh. So he plans to sue over that issue.
You could have peace easily and Trump proved it. Unfortunately only cowards hold political orfice. Ukraine is a great example. Everyone is afraid of being called a Russian supporter so peace isn’t even an option. Idiots all. Trump is unique and hopefully he can get back in. His leadership is a a once in a lifetime opportunity

Yeah, many books have already been written about Trump without Trump’s input. What’s different is Woodward cannot be trusted with this direct content and will likely edit it in a way unfavorable to Trump. But we’ll see what happens.

Biggest difference is Woodward’s power. He’ll trash President Trump up one street and down another, of course. That’s a given.
